Does your mud guards come with complete screw? Mine only come 6 screw and 6 pcs.

Installation process is different for 2023-2024 year models compared to 2022. I have a 2024 and mine required less hardware and didn’t include the two plastic brackets for the front mudguards. The threaded screws for the rear mudguards are a pain if you have 21” wheel/tire set up.

Hello Viktor, you are doing a good job with all those useful videos for us DIY folks! I may need to watch those sometime in the future ;-) I got 2024 NX350h that I am planning to replace all four black plastic wheel arch mouldings to the body color ones. From what I could gather, the front and rear ones are pretty easy and straight forward to replace, but the ones that are on the rear doors a little bit complicated. If you get a chance would you please make a detailed video explaining how to replace those mouldings on the rear doors, I think it would help a lot of DIY peoples who are converting their base trim cars to F-Sport haha Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Thank you Viktor, very informative. May I ask if you have tried replace the door trim/side skirt which is in black plastic trim? My rear door side is making a loose rattling noise when I shut the door with a hard thump, soft close it doesn’t emit the sound. I narrow down to that section. Thank you Chief.

I have not replaced that trim before, but it is certainly possible to do.

Then you can either use a manual ratchet with a screwdriver bit or remove the rear wheel and use a regular screwdriver.

The kit I received has two fixings that are different to your video. So I purchased the kit from Lexus Parts Direct thinking I could install them but you can’t.

Hi Viktor, looks like I have to have the air ratchet in order to do the rear mud guards even though I can move the tire for the front, is that correct? Thanks for this making this video. I was able to do the front but not the rear because I don't have the tool.

You could do it with a regular hand ratchet instead of an air ratchet, or you can take the wheel off and get direct access to those screws.

I second this request. I have the mud guards but can not figure out how to get them installed on ‘24 RX.

@@Kprirish I have '24 RX. Just installed factory mudguards. Front: Turn wheels for easy access. Each front guard comes with 3 screws and 3 clips. The clips go on just like in Viktor's vids. I then drilled pilot holes because it was easier when I used stubby screwdriver for each screw. Easy. There is one plastic pop rivet you remove / re install at bottom of car. Rear: I did NOT remove wheels as suggested. And instead of pop rivet, there is 10mm bolt you will remove / re install at bottom. I lined up rear guard and marked location of 3 holes. I drilled holes as directed . . . yes I drilled them at slight angle since wheels still on. I installed clips and screwed in the screws. You will need an off set screw driver to get those screws in. Or, I was able to borrow an 18 inch long screwdriver. I just pressed the shank against the tire and was able to do it even at slightly awkward angle. All the screws go through plastic trim pieces. That's why you need the metal clips. That's what each screw bites into.
