@@wanyuting9866 The difference is the size, one is a bit larger. Presumably, it may provide some marginal benefits when it comes to the amount of oil flow through it.

The repair manual does not give you a torque spec, but it would probably be in the 3 ft-lbs range.

@@Viktor_G_Automotive Hey Viktor. I brought my 2023 RX to the dealership today for the second key delivery program and for the special service campaign 24LC03 (software update). When I tried to get in the vehicle, both keys would not unlock the doors. The vehicle was opened manually and the key had to be placed over the start button in order for the vehicle to start. The dealership kept the vehicle as they couldn’t figure it out. Any ideas? Thanks

@@mattfoster9519 since the vehicle is under warranty and at the dealership already, I would just let them figure it out. I would have to see it in person to diagnose as no cause comes to mind off the top of my head. I’m sure they will fix it.

viktor i followed your instructions on how to replace my door lock actuator on my daughter 2013 Lexus RX 350. When I put the thing back together...I cannot get the door open. The actuator sounds like it is working...but the door will not open from the inside or the out side. I have a feeling the cables are off as is the post from the outside handle. How can I get the door open to remove the door trim? Any help would be appreciated

Hey man. great video. Question, when I did my first oil change, the crush washer is stuck to the oil pan. After watching your video, I am pretty that's not the design of the oil pan. I tried using screw driver to remove it, but no success. Any advice?

Theoretically, yes. However, the amount of work required might be massive - wire harnesses are likely different, as well as various modules etc. Would take a bunch of research to figure out what exactly would be involved in the swap.

After doing this for 20 years, one gets fairly experienced with knowing how tight to tighten various bolts without using a torque wrench. For a beginner, however, I would recommend using a torque wrench.

After the first 5000 miles on the break-in oil you can switch to full synthetic and go 10,000 mi between changes with a high quality filter such as Purolator One/Boss. Personally I like to change the breakin oil after 2500 miles, refill with new breakin oil and then change to full synthetic Amsoil 0w-16 at 5000. (2022 nx350h)
