Love the look of this car! Better than the new Integra in my opinion. They should’ve kept it for another year or released a Type S version with the same engine but turbocharged and tighter suspension before killing it. ILX is a legendary line from Acura.

I have a 2018. This car has one of the smoothest tramissions i’ve driven. 90k miles and never had issues. Nice review

If Acura knew how to market their cars they would sell a ton of these. It's a nice looking car and the 2.4 mated with the 8 SP DCT is sweet. Sure the interior is a bit dated but it's still nice.

Great review, I just bought a 2021 ILX base model for $24000.00 with only 2300 miles and I'm happy with it I don't need all that technology.

Congrats The ILX was one of those cars I reviewed that really called me to drive it again. I actually prefer this over the new Integra the DCT with a high revving 2.4 was awesome. Plus the handling was good really good wise purchase most people want the interior of the Integra with the dynamics and everything of the ILX!!

@@jp407 i ordered on the heel and toe website. I also installed a Cai to smooth out the midrange power and once my downpipe comes in, it will go on a Dyno to get pro tune. I'll make a video for my channel once it comes in. Great little car!

Despite the car aging, the one thing I do appreciate about over the new Integra is the powertrain. This one has the last of the old K-series engine with an 8 speed DCT. Whereas the integra will use a turbo four-cylinder with a CVT. IMO I don’t like turbo charged engines because there are more prone to wearing out then an naturally aspirated one

I have such mixed feelings about this thing. I love the exterior styling, but I've been waiting YEARS for the interior to get updated. But now it's getting replaced with the Integra, which I don't think looks as good as this car. If they'd have just updated the interior of this car it'd have been a no-brainer and I'd pay a few extra thousand for it.

I guess it’s more reminiscent of the last Integra, the Dc5, when you consider it’s at least Vtec and comes with a performance focused auto. Hell, even the DB8 Type R was a sedan so there’s that to call back to as well. It’s just as much an Integra as the new Integra lol.

I saw a 21 ilx premium for 23.5k so about 25k after tax/title/license fees. Is it worth considering? Currently drive a 2015 civic 😭

I had 18 civic ex and traded in put 5k more got 22 aspec brand new 36k. Its worth it, only oil change and the gas price is my only worry😅

couple things, is there a usb port near the touchscreen to plug in phone? also, how good does the exhaust sound?

The USB ports that I saw were located in the wireless charging area. 2 up front and 2 more in the back seats. Honestly it’s a economy car so exhaust sound is normal 4 cylinder expect the si which sounds nice.

I just picked up a certified 2020 ILX premium with 3900 miles, yes 3900 miles! The sales rep at Acura said it's a Covid car lol! One of the reasons why is I did not want the Integra. I will probably give the nod to the Integra in looks and the available manual, but the engine and CVT are absolute garbage.
