i just traded in my MDX Aspec 2020 for the new Aspec 2022 I love it, very comfortable

They should make all the safety features standard, the rear view mirror with the camera standard, the keyless entry on the rear door standard, the tilt sideview mirrors when put into reverse standard, the left and right camera in the dashboard when signalling left and right standard and panoramic sun/moonroof standard on every car now....Lol! That'll be amazing!!

Pano roof, digital gauge cluster, all safety features, and tilting when in reverse mirrors are all standard on the base model with the mdx

This isn't really a review; it's a video brochure of the features and specs. What gas mileage did you get? How did it handle? Was it quiet? How are the brakes? Was there actually a difference in suspension modes? Is visibility good or bad? How does the radio sound? Were the seats comfortable after a long drive? Did the adaptive cruise control work as expected? How does it accelerate under different situations? There's nothing in this video I can't read on the Acura website.

Seriously, great job on this review Brian. You saved me from going through the Acura website and breakdown all the 4 trims. I feel like the price difference between the trims are quite reasonable that it wouldn't be right to buy anything less than the elite trim when you're going to be spending $60K+ for such an SUV. As much as I am usually geared towards the A Spec trim, this particular vehicle, i really feel like it isn't done right. Just blacking out all the trim and grey wheels makes the MDX look dull and dated. I can't wait for the Type-S trim!

I just took delivery on a new 2022, and could not agree with you more! No need for A spec, total waste of money. S type is cool and had an Acura S Type in the past (2 door sedan), which only invited trouble from the law, if U know what I mean! Happy Trails!!!

Except that the larger 3rd row seated Cadillac XT6 beats the 2022 MDX by about a second in Motor Trend handling course. The XT6 also gets TSP+ and tops MDX with 310 hp!

Yes, of the greatest importance is how fast a SUV can lap a handling course. Sounds like you were challenged to find something that the XT6 was better at!

This 4th gen MDX is gonna be the sexiest SUV on the road since the refreshed 3rd gen MDX. Hopefully in newer model years they'll offer a matte or carbon fiber interior option instead of the high gloss piano black. Seems like a fingerprint magnet.

Please do a head to head with highlander platinum. This one is 16k more. Fuel economy? Maybe all premium feature comparisons? Is this premium fuel? Space comparison? They seem very equal vehicles. It will help a lot to make my decision.

Good detailed review, I really like the new look and length, the only would have like to hear about the engine. is it the same engine on all trims? 0 to 60 helps me on a purchase.

Nice car overall. I have looked at it several times and drove it . It is hard to tell from the pics but the interior has some cheap or should I say Honda type plastics that are not uncommon in even top trim CRV's and Pilot's. Nice base engine but it is really showing it's age especially without some kind of Hybrid option. With supply down and hype high it is hard to get a discount . The tech version at about 50-52k US would be a ok deal IMO

First off, the tech version at 50-52k would be ideal? Are you seriously this dumb? It's blatantly obvious that you can't afford Luxury and never had Luxury. I got my 22 MDX in april of 21 and its buttery smooth, the seats are anything but cheap and feel great. I'm coming from BMW and had 2 Mercedes before that and the seats are comparable to Mercedes. You have no clue what you're talking about and can't even afford it so stick with your chevy impala. Stick to what you know which is used cheap cars.

One of the best videos about this car. Im likely going for the aspec version. Glad you mentioned that non touch screen infotainment system, not a big fan but looks like it aint too hard to adapt, just takes some gettingusedto. Question tho, lack of ability of putting down 2nd row seat doesnt bother u? I ski a lot, so it seems like a bummer to me if i constantly need to put them down to store ski.

The touchpad is very easy to use. Unless you’re 6 years old or less it should take you about 60 seconds to figure it out! Great feature IMO. Good luck.

The second row easily folds flat. Also. You can remove the middle second row seat. My advance model comes with rails on the roof. You can put storage on the roof if you need it.

Man, I own 2004 Acura MDX. I thought Acura has made the 3rd row for roomy. It is pretty much the same huh? I wish they have made the 3rd row roomier because the 3rd on my 2004 MDX is very tight. I am kind of disappointed. By the way, I love everything about Acura MDX except for the 3rd row.

Just wonder why Lexus doesn’t increase the size of their RX350L to match this MDX, then install a tablet touchscreen, and even a dashboard map in the gauge. All these are actually not difficult at all to do nowadays, but with these Lexus sure could beat this MDX

Funny things is I literally just bought one on Monday but the engine has some issues, it's making a knocking sound, only has 90 miles so I took it back to the dealership and now I am waiting for them to get back to me.
