I bought THIS car! Marty at Audi of Lexington was our salesperson. We drove up from Lakeland FL to pick it up and I love it. I had the wheels powder coated to all black, added tinted ceramic to the front windows to match the back and had ceramic coating applied to the car to protect the paint. The brake calipers really pop now with the all black wheels! It's a beautiful car and it's awesome to have this video of my car!

Great video gentlemen. As usual. One piece of constructive criticism I would offer is this. When you were describing the frunk. I would like to have seen the depth of that frunk. Meaning moving your camera forward to the top of the frunk. And allowing us, the viewer, to gain our own perspective of what the frunk looks like. As opposed to you simply standing in front of the vehicle and verbally providing a description of the frunk. Otherwise, this video provided yet another reason to consider other electric vehicle alternatives other than Tesla. Again, great job gentleman. Thank you.

I will tell you that the front storage area is extremely small. I would say you could probably fit a small overnight bag within it, but that would be about it. I have never put anything in it outside of the alternative plug-ins that came with the vehicle.

@@caseymoore1469 I never use the cables that come with the car, but I also never needed the "frunk", even on longer journeys with 2 kids. It's quite small. It's not quite a rectangle, but horizontally varies between 23 inches (58cm) at the front and 29.8 inches (75cm) at the back, vertically 16.7 inches (42,5cm), depth between 4 inches (10cm) at the front and 8 inches (20cm) at the back.

I just bought the 2022 e-tron Sportback (premium package) and it is an amazing ride. I'm coming from a 2014 Porsche Boxster S and the e-tron is a remarkably smooth ride with amazing acceleration. The range (220~ mi les) leaves something to be desired but I only put about 4-5k miles a year on my vehicles so it's not a big deal for me.

FINALLY a review of the exact car I want with all the exact features I want and all the exact colors I want! Excellent job! How do you like the seats? I drove a regular E Tron and was very disappointed after sitting in my sisters Q8…These seem much better! I was worried about the thigh support and the bolsters not being very substantial in the lower models…Think I’m ready to order!

I made the move from a Q8 to an etron sportback last year. It makes you realise how over priced the etron is compared to the Q8. In the UK base model is £15,000 more for the e-Tron in s line variant. Yet the interior feels cheaper than the Q8. I found the Q8 too big and etron perfect. The angled dashboard (towards driver) on the etron as far better than the flat dashboard in the Q8. Air suspension is far softer in the etron also so could warrant the extra price on that instance. Q8 certainly has more road presence but etron looks sleeker. If anyone is thinking of making the same move I would highly recommend it. Just make sure to get the equivalent options as I miss a few of those from the Q8.

Just bought this car!! Prestige, S line in white. Coming from a huge Max Expedition. I won’t miss the gas station. But, it’s fast… almost too fast for someone that has only owned massive Mom cars. Feels like I’m driving a spaceship. Great video!

Regardless of the range I think the cool thing about Audi doing an electric suv is simply that it’ll have Audi quality something Tesla can’t match and it won’t have the issues and or insane maintenance of gas Audi vehicles

We actually purchased this exact one. We drove all the way from Florida and picked it up from Kentucky!! Awesome dealership! They treated us to lunch at a nice local restaurant. I will purchase from them again.. The wife loves the E-tron. Her ONLY complaint is the switch from phone to car when talking on the phone. It's a good 5 second delay. The E Tron is pretty quick when you put in Sport mode. Responds totally different than when in D mode. We have had ZERO issues. My complaint is the range. So far we have pushed it as far as 195 miles before charging. It did say it had more, but fear caused me to stop and charge. Discovered in Florida, most of the Dunkin Donut spots near the highway have fast charging. :)

Awesome review, brothers! I like how Audi is using their stylish SUVs to lead their EV effort, since that is what the market is dictating right now. But I have some serious reservations over this e-Tron. Most blaring is the mileage. 200mi range is simply paltry from a mega brand like Audi. There needs to be a bigger battery and more powerful motors asap. Then there is the matter of price. For $91K, Audi's own SQ8 will blow the doors off of this and return far greater "range". I was also surprised by the amount of hard plastics in this interior, given that Audi vehicles generally have soft touch plastics and plush leather everywhere.

I will make two points here, as an E-Tron owner. If you look at most of the actual competitive EV's, they are all exchanging longevity for speed/power. The only real way of doing that is to get rid of weight, which is mostly occupied by batteries in these vehicles. Secondly, a comparably priced Tesla will cost you about the same price, and it's terribly constructed. The Jaguar EV is a joke (locks up and will need a tow if you run out of a battery charge...), I'm curious about the Mercedes EV that is coming out, along with the Cadillac. However, both of those vehicles tend to have a high price tag with a low value-retention.

@@caseymoore1469 I agree with some of your points, but mostly disagree. Yes, he Jag EVs are lousy, overall. And Tesla can't seem to put a care in the world in improving some of their build quality issues(although their batteries and motors have largely stood the test of time). As to Caddy and MB, it depends on which models you're referring to, in terms of value retention. Vehicles like the CT4 and XT4, yes those are really not befitting of a hallowed luxury nameplate. But Cadillac's Escalade and V/Blackwing models do pretty well in holding value. This is a problem with many cars, but Germans are notorious for dropping like bricks. Audi's own A8 loses nearly 55% of it's value in 4 years. The A7 about the same. As for the e-Tron, with both range and acceleration being lackluster, also factoring in the high price tag for what it is, it is a tough sale.

No manufacturer, imho, compares to Audi. The interior and exterior are absolutely beautiful...and the reason I've driven Audis for the past 20 years. But lets be real. Tesla is the EV champ.. and to dismiss them is straight up myopic. I'm currently waiting on my Tesla delivery in a few months and I'm not looking back. Plus...glad I'm buying american again.

Well, well, well Audi, you’ve impressed me with this sport back. I have been dragging my heels with getting an electric car because even though the design has vastly improved, l still found them a bit “meh”. Not this one, l’m sold with purchasing this one over the gas Mercedes amg 53 coupe l was going to get because l didn’t want to let go of the petrol car. It makes sense to get electric if they’re gonna be phasing out gas cars.

In dark areas you need lights to see the back lift gate and for the front storage you talked about we didn't see it? How deep was it? ;-( Upgrade your Camera too with wide angle lenses that a low more light. Cheap to on camera lights (LED) lights.

The wheels on this Sportback Prestige Black Ops are an ASININE price lmfao. I saw the wheels on this car and fell in love. They look somewhat EV-styled but not TOO EV styled like what comes on most electric cars. I went to an Audi dealer trying to see what it'd cost to buy these. Dude prints me out a sheet of paper with the parts numbers. Yall. For 4 of these 22" turbine alloy wheels, you're to pay (I threw the paper away so I forget the exact number) like $7,200.44 💀💀 no wonder it's so easy to total a car out w/ insurance these days.

Car Mfg. Unfortunately never take roads into consideration when selling/designing these car. These wheels (tho awesome) will not hold up on MOST city roads. Potholes and changing weather make them useless in seasonal cities.

Because a Tesla is made cheaper. That's really all it comes down to. If you're just looking for an EV, go for a Tesla, sure. If you are looking for an EV with the luxury you expect from Audi, there is currently no other option on the market. I tried both, to get a comparably outfitted Tesla, you will end up spending roughly the same price as the Audi, and it still will come up lacking as far as construction: see inner door panels moving and the doors not sitting flush/lining up to each other.

As someone who owns the exact model in the video with same options, you can't compare a Tesla to this, this is a luxury car. Tesla gets more miles, who cares, I charge my car every night at home. I drove my friend's model Y on the expressway. The first thing I noticed was a lack of road noise dampening, which seems to be something German cars excel at. I agree Tesla is cheaper and you can tell by little things like this. Maybe the higher end Tesla (X) does a better job with road noise.
