Love your videos as their very informative. I'm thinking your very concerned about caring for your CT-5555 and I just wanted to suggest you consider using FilterMag products as they provide an additional layer of protection for your tractor and the fluids. Your fuel, engine and hydrostat filters would take a FTM-SS365PR and fits 3.5" to 4" filters and can be found at Summit Racing. The LTM2 is for the larger Hydraulic filter that is 4.25" in diameter for that filter. But it is only available directly from FilterMag since they discontinued the production for that size. You will need to call them directly for that LTM2 product as it has been discontinued as far as production goes and is not listed on their website. That LTM2 fits filters from 3.6" to 4.3". I only have 30 hours on my new CT-5555 and am anxious to get them on especially after watching your video on this 400 hour service and what you found as well as your oil analysis video of those results. Note: their not cheap but I use them on every filter equipped engine that I own. I was going to wait for funds to recover a bit before ordering but after watching your videos I bought them all today.

I appreciate the kind words. I hadn't heard of those filters before, I will do some research on them. Thanks for the info.

Great Video. Any updates on the transmission problems. I was looking at getting a 2024, your thoughts?
@gaining_ground3 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes, my dealership recently replaced the transmission shifter position sensor. I only have about 25hrs on the new sensor, but so far so good. I want at least 100hrs of a trouble-free transmission before I consider it a success. Like I stated in the video, if I can get the transmission straightened out, I would definitely recommend these tractors. The problem with my dealership is that they just don't work on many tractors and don't have the knowledge base to diagnose certain issues. I would do some research on your local dealer to see what their experience level is on these machines before buying one, in case you were to have an issue down the road.

@@gaining_ground Thank you so much. I do have a bobcat dealer (45 minutes away) that does specialize in the tractors.

I calibrated my 5555 and the issue went away . I looked it up how to do it something about turning key on and pushing forward all the way down let off and then pushing reverse all the way down and then let off and then I started it seems to work way better.

Where did you find the procedure for that?

a batch of bad solenoids and ground straps is the answers my research gave me. when it warms up it gets more pronounced. is this a vidja of the old tractor? or the new one? or both the same? make them sign a doc. that you brought the SAFETY issue to their attention. that may get results. I had a similar issue. ya cant keep ignoring it. best of luck Mr. ground

I had heard of the solenoid issue, but when I asked my dealer on my first tractor they said there was no such issue. Could be them trying to down play it. The video insert was of the new tractor. The old one never did it while in motion. I doubt they would sign anything, but I’m documenting everything when I talk to them. It definitely needs fixed.

Maybe hard for bobcat to have an answer when they are not the actual builders.

2022 TYM T494 both companies make great machines. KUKJE and DAEDONG have great track records. the T494 claims 2800 loader lift. the TYM has a bit more ass behind her.
@gaining_ground7 ай бұрын
Yeah, my only concern with the TYM is parts availability. I ordered an armrest for a TYM around 2 years ago and it took almost a year to get.
@beaushirley4668Ай бұрын
There is no way with that “reach” you can lift 2,400
@frankwrogg25157 ай бұрын
That really stinks and is dangerous, as you said. Makes the tractor pretty worthless.
@gaining_ground7 ай бұрын
Yeah, if it wasn’t for the transmission it would be a good machine.

It's a kioti tractor
@gaining_ground7 ай бұрын
Yup, sure is. Kioti offers 2 transmission options where Bobcat only offers the hydrostat.

Bobcat and kioti are the samebobcat dealers told me this

pats easy change and hyd. top link and bucket cutting edge. all 2-$250 each I liked the KIOTI but I like the T494 better. if you drive by a TYM place look at T494 or T574 they are the same but the 494 has no turbo

I like the looks of the Pats easy change. I might put one on a smaller tractor I have. I don’t have a TYM dealer near me, but it might be worth the drive.
