I use more than one word of the year. Then I jump ahead a random # of pages and write quotes related to the words of the year. It's not a sacrifice of space because I skip a gazillion of the frivolous spreads some people fill their journals with. Works great as a reminder of my yearly words which are really intentions.

I love the gnome! My brother crocheted this large gnome to sell in his crochet small business and I call him Jerry lol. Another really great black pen to use is Fabre Castell Pitt Artist pen. It works really well! Love your set up, can’t wait for the gnomes for the rest of the year!

As a person who uses one journal per year, I'm gonna drop some tips that I use! + Single page weeklies are a must when things are slow to save paper + combine trackers where possible, I put habits, mood, and gratitude on the same page for efficiency + consider what spreads can be on taped in pages like your grid spacing and year@glance page Good luck and happy holidays!

No bleeding at all!! The only thing I think could bleed through would be alcohol based markers, but the regular tombow dual brush pens are perfectly fine on the 160gsm!
