Hey Murray this is Patton from Waco again I'm subscribed to your channel I always like and share with my brothers I was wondering have you ever thought of doing an external bolt release on the left hand side of an SKS that you could operate with your thumb with your hands still around the magazine if you ever do please make a video of it I would love to see it I have several sks's and I would like to do that to mine I just need a hint or two and I would really like to see a video on how you done Sasha's it would be greatly appreciated thank you

18:23 you're absolutely correct having an optic improves effectiveness over iron sights. That's why modern armies try fielding them to such a high degree.

🇦🇺😎👍Hey mate nice rifles. Those SKSs were banned here in Australia in 1997 when a mentally disabled man shot 35 people dead like a highly trained SAS trooper 😉. Too bad we can’t have those type of firearms anymore as Australia’s has always been a peaceful country. . Now they are coming for rifles like ( bolt action) 28 Nosler and above ( for safety just in case )😉. . Great video , love the snow. Watch out for the Burrrs 🐻🐻🐻

It does it automatically. There's no mod.

Thats one beautiful sks. You can really hear the piston hitting the bolt back on that one! It sounds soo awesome. Or is that noise from your muzzle break? Anyways that has got to be the sweetest looking sks in the world right now. Nobody has a better looking bubba sks. It looks professional and not bubba. Id love to have one that looks like that.

i want that stock; the only issue is there is no option for bayonet, like a cutout. but, then you'd have to do away with the pic rail underneath which provides some neat options like bipod

My bro has a mini scope and a rail on his sks. He can still use the stripper clips and theres a hole in the rail that you can still use iron sights. It has a 30 shot magazine. Its a Chinese norinco. I have original russian non chrome lined

Life keeps throwing me delays, Have spent the last few weeks waiting to hear back from machine shops, and submitting quotes to other machine shops. Unfortunately this Ukrainian War induced energy boom has got most machine shops ive contacted extremely busy, leads times as high a 12 weeks! thankfully, just the other day I found a favorable opportunity with a local shop that also quoted favorable prices, so ill most likely comet to a production run with them. But even they projected on the quote a 3-4week delivery time. Crazy times.

Interesting observation: Sasha has an audible 'PING' with every round - is that the shells striking the steel deflector or a really tight gas system? Super interesting comparison and great camera work. The bolt release rocks!
