You paid more for that Arch Angel stock than what I paid for my brand new Chinese Norinco SKS-D back in the early 80's - I am not 100% sure but I believe Choate was the first company to come out with polymer folding stocks for the SKS back in the 80's.. before the Tapco.. and ATI Strikeforce and Fab Defense and Arch Angel stocks.. and they even made them with the bayonet cut out on the bottom for the bayonet.. which some companies do not even do. Looking for a super cool stock and unique platform for your SKS..? - try one of the aftermarket SKS Bullpup stocks on the market like the SG Works stock.. the SKSAR Bullpup kit.. the Shernic Gun Works stock.. the CBRSP Bullpup stock.. and there are a few other companies out there making super cool looking aftermarket stocks for the SKS. Like most Bullpups.. this platform will have a noticeable effect on your trigger pull.. but I think it is something you can get used to over time. One of the many projects that I have lined up for 2025 will be putting one of my SKS rifles in a Bullpup stock.. and I may go with the SG Works Bullpup stock.

First off the Flames suck. lol and Damn good video. The only critique I have is that it was never intended as a long range varmint gun. You said it yourself at 1:00. The fact you use it that way show what kind of shooter you are. I think Benelli tried to build a close quarter "100m/y" AR style rifle with a better gas system then an AR and get the sweet long term contract with Law and Military but failed. Only reason I paid $1900 back in 2009 /w telescopic stock was Non/R. I have the tri rail with foregrip and a easy remove basic 5X red dot site, factory iron sites at 100 are still fun. Here in the states we can have ARs so there’s no real reason to buy one of these but for the royal subjects to our north it seems like a pretty good choice be nice if it was in a heavier caliber though 223 fine for deer but Canadian moose or large bears i’d want a bigger caliber

It's easy .. before I had a Dremel in 2018 I think I did 6 with a razor knife . They didn't look pretty... but they functioned flawlessly 😊

They can be ammo picky. Have two of the "Pistols" in 9mm and 45ACP. After a couple of hundred rounds, no more function failures. They like hot ammo best! Stay away from Winchester White Box..under powered.

I hate tactical imports, they are not good to the clientele. My first type 81 they “miss counted” and didn’t tell me so I was waiting months for it to ship. They wanted to give me in store credit I said no money back… months later I order I forget the model but the insanely short O/U 12ga. The butt pad bottom screw was blown out, I had to modify it myself as when it came out the box half the butt pad was falling off. I just finally ordered and under folder, been waiting over a month, I emailed them to say I would lie to add a drum mag and a few extra parts…. They never got back to me and shipped the rifle. It’s like they think they are H&K “because you suck and we hate you” but it’s some Canadian shiet hole.

some oils contain sulphides which also could be harmfull to the metal and is know to caue cancer be aware of what the msd sheet says i was int he trades and yea even though it mixs with water some of these oils are very dangerous, ask me how i know i had a coolan line explode one time and after ingesting some of that crap well it took about a year and a half to recover from that shit just saying just as a foot note windex will do the same thing so will 99 percent alchol

SprayNine works great, first you go with that, until patches come clean, then wipe dry and oil. In fact, stuff very similar to Spray Nine - an alcaline based solution , was issued in the east bloc. You all seen AK/SKS two part oilers? The part marked "Щ" actually held that stuff. The other - just regular oil. You'd think they'd actually bring a kettle with them in combat? Stuff like acetone, thinners, brake cleaner - yes, works too but it does damage the wood and stains plastic stocks. Spray Nine is a way to go. Also - CLR will be fine too. If you got nothing else - laundry detergent dissolved with some water.
