I still have a 1999 6 cyl. 191,000 mi still runs great. Had window motor and windshield motor replaced, and regular maintenance. Lately dome light problem and power seat, can't find parts.

To drive it is to own it. I recommend test driving an XLE or an XSE model. The 2013 is quite comfortable, but to experience the newer model Camry feels like a next level experience.

The only family sedan I would buy right now since it's currently the only one left that still offers a V6. I would go for the XSE V6. I had a 2015 XSE V6 for a few years (My brother owns it now) & was a great reliable car. My parents have a 2017 XLE 4-cylinder that I recommended to them & it's been problem free so far as expected.

They did. The 7th generation Camry 2GR-FE V6 makes 268 HP. The 8th Gen 2GR-FKS V6 with dual port & direct injection makes 301 hp

Always be the benchmark and leader since the second generation back in 1980s. A minor drawback is its power and stand start performance (the top model) usually defeated by Acccord which is mainly due to the philosophy of Toyota, balance and durability are the crucial elements and hence never tune and maximize any Toyota car to and even exceed limits.

I have a 2017 Camry with 62K miles on it. Still has the original battery and brakes. The only thing I've had to replace is the tires. Just keep the oil changed and they will last a looong time.

So nothing has changed from the 2021 model except now a nightshade hybrid and a new blue colour, everything else is the same. They really need a multimedia screen update in the 2023 Camry, as even the 9 inch touch screen is getting quite dated, also need wireless AA and car play.

@@toyotausa since 2017 I bought it off my brother. It is my first car. He has had since day one. It’s a great car. I don’t recall how many miles it had on it when I bought it off of him. But I’m sure it was barely in the 200,000. Plan to keep it alive and hopefully reach 300k miles.
