Citroens look like concept cars. I like that. They're a bit mad, like they've just fallen off the catwalk.

USP is that they are unmistakably Citroen and non-conformist. That has a certain appeal. As an aside, we had an original Picasso from a couple of decades ago. Not a “drivers car”, and gear change was annoying. But practicality was out of this world. A perfect work-a-day solution as a family vehicle and occasional van, something I now miss greatly. And it was a superb motorway cruiser.

I've got one of these, dude! I just don't understand your comments about the driving position! I just got in it, set the seat and the steering column and have driven it without another thought for over a year now.... You people drive such a lot of cars that you become hyper critical about EVERY last detail! Motorway cruising - quiet and refined, little wind noise, can't hear the engine - so, completely great!! etc etc - it's all just fine, people - buy one......!!! Handling, steering, gear change - everything is just great - unless you drive it like a tw*t, of course....! So...again - just buy one, you won't be sorry!!!

Yeah mate I think you’re right. Maybe I didn’t get that across well enough. Most people will get in it, be comfy and not give it a thought. It’s very height dependent though. Our video editor is tall too and he thought the same thing - pedal placement and seating position just a bit…off. Honestly, have a go in a VW or BMW and you’ll see the difference. 😁👊🏻 Mark.

Is it reliable? I absolutely love the way this looks and trying to find something after our yeti has died. I LOVED the yeti but they no longer make them and saw this and thought it would be great BUT people seem so windy and suspicious of french cars! I'm not fussed about great handling around corners these days as I am more excited by good MPG than 0-60 and handling! I am so disappointed at how sooo many mini SUV's are so boring to look at and so it keeps me coming back to this, but the reliability niggle is what makes me reluctant to take a chance. ultimately though looks matter less than reliability (BORING!).

@@ArtByEmilyHare Just had one as a hire car at 800 miles, gearbox crunching and whining horrifically, gearbox chatter at low revs (possible dual mass issue), hateful seats with no lumbar support (perhaps higher spec models have it). Dullest handling/steering I have ever felt in a car, felt like a video game, and the infotainment system is downright dangerous, need to go through about 3 screens to change the climate. Even moving from hot to cold needs a keen eye or about 30 button presses, smart moves by the French. Changing the brightness for night driving is manual, and takes about 10 button presses! Dumbest design on the planet. No armrest either on that spec, worst vehicle I've ever driven. Buy a 3-4 year old GOOD car! Won't depreciate like a rock, likely more reliable too. It averaged 48-50mpg at 70, but the wind noise at those speeds was horrific, crossovers being crossovers of course, noisier, less efficient...

I wonder if he ever compare a rolls royce ghost. Citroën is brilliant value game changer. C3 Aircross offer brilliant comfrey option.

45 mpg should be possible from the petrols as long as you go carefully. Our bigger, heavier Peugeot 3008 get 43 mpg.

Good review but the frame rate difference in parts like 5:03 to 5:10 can be a bit jarring. Try to stick to only 24fps or only 60fps.

I think the Skoda Kamiq and Nissan Juke are better. The Toyota Yaris Cross and Hyundai Bayon and Kona are nice too. There’s so many B-SUVs. At least the C3 Aircross is better than the normal sized C3

Nobody ever mentioned the amount of leg room at the front, my husband needs to be able to straighten his leg when sitting next to me when I am driving and the Citroen we have at the moment does not able him to do this even when the seat is pushed right back.
