In today's video, I will be walking you through the buttons and features on the dash and head unit of the 2022 Corolla Cross XLE. Several of these features appear across our lineup and will be applicable to most new Toyotas.
We will learn about the buttons to the left of the steering wheel, on the steering wheel, the front dash, and the head unit.

Questions. My parents got me the same XLE model 2022 cross and I don’t have the de icer for the windshield on the left by the wheel, and I don’t have the hearted wheel option.

Hi, if you have the same year model and trim as we showed in the video, those options and buttons should be the exact same. I would suggest to go to your local Toyota dealership and ask a technology expert or service advisor to confirm and they can also go over any additional features and buttons with you.

What about the buttons on the rear view mirror?

The XLE model shown has auto dimming rear view mirror. The buttons are to turn the feature on and off.

Hi there.. may I know how to add choice of language?

In the MID behind the steering wheel, you will scroll through the menu to the gear icon. Once you get to that menu, scroll to the bottom of the page to the "settings" option and long press OK. From there, you will be able to choose your desired language.

Seems like Canadian models have the heated wheel but not the USA models

@Enock Heewon Yoon Thank you. I checked the Toyota website. There is no heated steering wheel option in the specs for this car. I live in USA.

Hi. How can I turn on emergency turn lights when they are blinking to both directions right and left?

Hello, if you have the 2022 Corolla Cross XLE, like the one in the video, the hazard light button is located just above your temperature control unit, in between the two middle vents. It is a red triangle with white outlined triangles in the middle. You can see it in the video at 3:20.

I can not find where I can change the temperature units from F to C.

On your multimedia screen go to Menu > Setup > General and scroll down the list until you see unit of temperature, select to change.

Where is the button for the gas tank

Cyeon there should be a lever next to the driver’s side door under the driver’s seat that you pull to pop the fuel door open.

Does the Cross come with 2 fobs/keys ?

All New Toyota Vehicles comes with 2 key fobs, however, due to the world wide chip shortage some people may have only received one at the time of delivery. It is best to speak to your Toyota dealer to get an update on when the second key will be available.

@@ukelilly as mentioned above there is a shortage of key fobs at the moment so you will need to connect with the Toyota dealer you purchased your vehicle from to inquire about timing for your second fob. Toyota will provide you with a second key fob (through your purchasing dealership) but timing for this is still to be determined.

Yes it’s a 2023 Corolla Cross XLE. I cant find the AWD button

There is no button as AWD is actually an automatic feature that the vehicle turns on when it's needed (ex. slippery road condition). This also saves on fuel as having AWD always on does consume more fuel.
