Also, just got to the part about wearing tennis shoes while cleaning. Our house has zero carpet and it’s ALL hardwood floors. It didn’t take me long to realize I have to wear my nice tennis shoes with the good support when I’m cleaning all day!! SO much easier on my body!

Growing up, I would clean with my mom and sister. We would clean with the music on, chat as we tackled our tasks, break for tea, and clean on. Your video reminds me that I enjoy cleaning with company. So you are like my YT cleaning sister 🙂 great motivational video! Just a thought: if you don’t want a bucket to rinse your shower, a plastic watering can with a long spout from the dollar store would also work well.

I am at work watching cleaning videos trying to get motivation so that when I get home I can clean my house, cook dinner and enjoy my time with my husband and son. I have only watched your channel for the last few months, but your videos make my top 5 favorite youtube channels to watch. Im currently catching up though because my son was sick with scorching skin syndrome last week. I spent the week taking care of him and resting when I could. I can totally relate with the laundry. My husband, 9 yr old and I were sick all last week. My 13 yr old daughter tried so hard to keep laundry going but of course she couldn't keep it all done. When I felt better I walked in the laundry room and about passed out. Lol This has me so excited to start cleaning and decluttering this weekend. I have a long weekend to do list I want to tackle.

Yessss!!!! Watched while I cooked breakfast and reorganized my pantry. Girl you did that I love when the tub is marinating lol I feel like I’m always getting the best shine! Lol fun fact about me unless life happens (sickness, travel, guests, projects etc) I do not do cleaning on the weekends I do the basic stuff you know. But laundry and deep clean is Wednesday and Friday’s lol. I don’t know why I figure because the kids and school gives me catch up and clean between plus I grew up cleaning on the weekends Good ole Sundays so it’s a no for me lol. Great video!! I’m watching before I go to bed. My cleaning is done. But I’m going to be doing laundry all day tomorrow. It’s just my husband and I, but somehow we make a lot of dirty clothes and towels. My hamper is overflowing. But I didn’t feel like doing it today. So that’s something to not look forward to tomorrow. I’m so glad I don’t have steps in my house anymore. And I’m also glad I have a smaller home. Yours is beautiful, but too much for me to take care of. It would take me all week to get your house clean. And then I would just have to start all over again.

What do you think about perhaps using a little pump sprayer (with hose) to rinse the shower? A 1/2 to 1 full gallon one is typically less than $15. Love your vlogs!

They sell something similar to a hose- that attaches to the shower head. You can use that instead of a bottle, will be easier. Professional house cleaners use it. You should check it out!

Thanks for the awesome cleaning motivation! I always enjoy your videos 💕 Also, wanted to recommend a product for your shower. I know you've said you use rainx on the glass. I purchased a product recently called Homeline Coatings. It puts a clear ceramic coating on any hard surface and lasts up to 6 months! I put it on my quartzite countertops and all my faucets and it is so amazing :) I don't get water stains on my faucets anymore and my countertops bead up any moisture. We are in the middle of a master bath remodel and I plan on using it everywhere in there!

I understand that where you live it snows and your winters a very cold. I live in Queensland Australia, where I dont see snow and our winters are quite mild but we get rain. Tropical rain, it could rain every day for a fortnight on and off, so drying of washing can be difficult. What I taught myself to do every day no matter what the weather was like when I had children at home, now they are grown adults and finally doing their own laundry,I washed two loads a day, understandably I did not have a huge washing machine like yours and still dont, but here is my tip that many have taken on board to help them with the pain of the laundry duties. I see that you do hang many of your little ones clothes as well as your own Now, get a retractable laundry line put into your laundry room and when you take out the clothes from the washing machine, dont put them into the dryer, hand the clothing straight onto the hanger and then hang onto the line. This will save you elecricity costs as you wont be using your dryer for so long at a time, and the heat in the house, especially if you add other clothes into the dryer and have it on at the same time. Yes it takes longer for them to dry, but they will be much less creased and it save your precious time double or triple handling The clothes dry the hanger and then you only have to hang them straight into your closets. I hang every item of clothing on hangers now to dry as I am disabled with a muscle disorder I have limited amount of strength in my arms, I can still do my housework but I do it in a different way these days. I love how most of the creases just fall out of the clothes drying. I am very lucky I can hang my clothes outside on a clothesline, but I do have a Retractable line in my laundry for those very wet days. I only use my dryer in emergencies. 🌺

Unfortunately it's bedtime for me (2am) but will finish it after work and most likely to replay it for another 5 times for motivation! I am excited to see the steam mop being used again. Was also wondering if you still have the carpet cleaner. Maybe a video on deep cleaning of the rugs? I have been into watching the deep cleaning of carpets, the amount of dirt that comes out is disgusting but satisfiying! Edit: that mountain of laundry was epic! I don't like doing the laundry but I don't mind the folding and putting away coz I am in one place where I can watch a series or listen to music. I'll def watch and use this video for motivation when I do the cleaning on the weekend! :)
