Hey Ryan, I really like the looks of the new Bronco. But I REALLY miss the 96 and older. My step brother bought a Bronco new in 79. He still drives it. It has a 302 V8 with a 4spd std transmission. It’s yellow and white with tan interior. A few years ago he had a frame off remodel. It’s a honey of a Bronco. I had a 96 with the 4.9 liter straight 6. I needed a lot of low end torque to tackle the terrain that I needed it for. It’s too bad Ford won’t bring back the 300+ K mile Inline 6. They didn’t have much hp, but a Ton of low end torque. I’d put mine in “granny low” and it would go anywhere. Anyhow, another Great review. Thanks !

@@Davido50 I would but my situation has changed since then. My wife has an Outback and I have my Rav. Our pickup is a 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4X4 that we use for work around our property. It only has 34K miles on it. It has the 4.0 V6. I’ve added a K&N intake and a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust, air shocks so we can haul heavier loads. It’s our 4th Ranger. They’re good little pickups. We had a F150 reg cab long bed, but it wasn’t a 4X4, so we sold it when it hit 250K miles.

According to Automotive Press it's illegal to charge over MSRP in Canada. What kinda dealers are that?
@imnotusingmyrealname45662 жыл бұрын
@@gs98999 Wow so the prices are similar to Europe. A Ranger Raptor in Germany costs 101,960 CAD and in Austria 121,073 CAD because of the stupid fuel consumption tax. Considering you get more capabilities out of the Ranger it's not that overpriced compared to it
@ellocalcrew6132 жыл бұрын
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 it is but I know local dealer managers would drive the broncos around for 500kms and then sell it back to the dealership and then upsell because it's a used vehicle . Very common here . The 450 I mentioned was used , so MSRP laws aren't valid

I saw one in person after waiting on my wife’s Bronco Sport to be serviced. My gosh, what a great looking vehicle. And I own a Rubicon Gladiator. The dealership had one in this sage green with gold flakes in the paint. I fell in love. And the fenders were painted in the same color. Just gorgeous. But at $93k that’s just a bit much. You can get these for around $80k if you look at a ‘23 model. The stance, the height, the huge tires, the engine, it’s got such a presence. It just looks like it could go anywhere. Perfect Doomsday vehicle!

OK - let's think about this. A 2024 F-150 Raptor rolls out the door for $118,000 - add $15,350 for HST. A 2024 Bronco Raptor is all yours for $122,000. That's right, $122,000 +$15,860 HST. $137,860. Um, OK. Now all the systems are beefed-up, and require Raptor-only parts. So no more trips to NAPA, you are tied to the dealer. Great. Then there's the fuel mileage. My 2012 F-150 with a 3.5 EB uses 10 - 11 liters per 100 km at 112 kph. The Bronco Raptor is sucking up 15+ liters per 100 Km in-town or on the highway. Then you have to insure the beast. $5,000/yr. Guys please inform me this bronco has 2h, 4H, 4L and 4A As I understand, 4A is 4 Auto. I just thought that this car has part-time 4x4. Does 4A mean that the car has multi select transmission like in old Toyota Sequoia, or bronco has part time system as in any pick up 1500 truck , just 4A might turn on for a short time the front differential in slippery condition? I ask it because I am a huge fun of full time 4x4 and I wonder may I drive all the time in 4A or that will bring me the issues that happens in ram 1500 if it drives in that mode. Sorry for confusion, I hope that someone will get me and give me needed information
@---rg1gb2 жыл бұрын
You can drive in 4A 100% of the time if you want. It directs power to all wheels all the time....but does favor the rear wheels most of the time. I've had it on multiple ford vehicles and switched it into that mode a lot particularly in winter. The terrain select is a separate selectable item on this vehicle. It also has part time 4 wheel drive if you want (4H & 4L)....but you don't want to use that on dry pavement. Off road/truly slippery conditions only. Overall, this is the best of both worlds. Highly recommended 👌

We can only dream...I'd be happy with the gen 3 coyote.

@@tri3pleagent let’s hope…..if they can put the predator in the F150 they’ve gotta put in the bronco at some point

Would like to see Bronco Raptor do actually rock crawling...my sister's Subaru did more challenging trails then that. New Broncos r made for high speed desert racing. Old Broncos r made better

There is no Bronco made better than Raptor

It actually rock crawls really well. The only real handicap is the width. I mean, my wrangler on 37s probably can crawl a little better, but I wouldn’t hesitate to crawl a bronco raptor. The raptor probably beats my Jeep in about every other way.

Dude a goofy Subaru has NOTHING on this high tech new Gen Bronco whether standard version or the Raptor. This Bronco Raptor Is the best high performance off rd SUV ever built. Worth every penny of $75k I have mine ordered! Black on black. Home run Ford Motor.

@@hotrod7603 Well the Raptor is a "super version" of the excellent Bronco. Raptor couldn't exist w/standard Bronco! #Bronco

because high speed desert running is a million times more fun than rock crawling

It's cool... Yep. I'm a Jeep guy but yeah this looks fun. However it's too wide for the trails I enjoy. I dd my Jeep and get about 20mpg highway. It's unfortunate it's mpg numbers suck so bad, really bad.
