Lots of newer transits on auto auction sites that some delivery driver rear ended. I got a 2021 with only 1500 miles for dirt cheap. A little body work and bam she is like new. Just a suggestion for those waiting for a year plus.

The only way to get one is to order one with one dealership, then have your wife under her non married name order on, and maybe your sister order one. Then whichever one gives you the van us the one you keep. The other dealerships will be grateful for the Transit you don't pick up, as they will sell it for $10,000 more over list, as only about 1/2 the orders are actually getting built.

I ordered a 2022 transit back in October of 21. They couldn't build the damn thing. Now I'm on the list for a 23.

I order a 2023 on Aug 8, no idea when I’ll get it. Ford emails me every 45. Days with an update. The dealer guy told me that last year Amazon and FedEx ordered a combined 50,000 transits. The dealer told me they feel the cancellations are behind them. I hope so.

We ordered our AWD Medium Roof 150 Crew with the Adventure Prep Pkg. The order was confirmed on Sept 15, 2021 and it's been listed as "in production," since Apr 4. We're waiting with bated breath!

I’m not coming from a camp van fan standpoint, but for a work van the awd adds some nice capability in bad weather/ unimproved roads and driveways. What would make this even better would be a hybrid version of this. I hear it’s coming to US. I worked with my brother’s F-150 4wd hybrid pickup for 2 days. Working off the electric power (20A & 30A receptacles) on a job site with no generator or grid power is legit. The truck dutifully fires up on its own to top off the batteries when needed. It’s not a gimmick, it adds even more utility.

Its a great van but there are two problems. The Auto Stop(engine stops) is always on unless you press the switch. So you have to press the switch EVERY time you start it. Second, the air cleaner is extremely difficult to access or even check. Other than that, I like it.

Theres a connector under the drivers seat which can be put on a switch to disable this feature

An empty cargo van is pretty light, hence acceleration would naturally be lively. However, that twin turbo V6 is a very powerful engine. Regarding the seating position, it looked like you were stretching to reach the steering wheel. Is that an accurate observation or is the seat and wheel/pedals not suitably adjustable. Overall nice van. Ford builds a good delivery van. Thanks for the review.

Same story Stateside though. I too didn't get a 2021. I placed a new order for a 2022 last November...and it just now as we speak being built. And only because I got a pretty basic one, avoiding the high tech options. Hang in there.

You have to wait for the 2023 at this point. Only way to get one at MSRP is to custom order it. Anything that sits on the lot will be marked up.

@@MotoMatt418 well I’m using it as a work van. So I believe I added the shelving etc but I believe they do that after wards. Not sure but yeah. I didn’t even any adventure pack or such
