HUMMER EV’s on-road performance matches its off-road chops. Drive Mode Control
The HUMMER EV’s driving experience can also be tailored by the driver for different conditions through Drive Mode Control. It includes four pre-configured modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Off-Road and Terrain, along with the configurable My Mode - featuring a new Adrenaline Mode.
Technical interior
The five-passenger HUMMER EV’s bold cabin design is geometric and textured.
At launch, the 2022 HUMMER EV will be offered in Edition 1 trim, featuring a white exterior color, a unique high-contrast Lunar Horizon interior color and special Edition 1 interior badging. It also includes the Extreme Off-Road Package, which adds Adaptive Air Suspension with available Extract Mode capability, 4 Wheel Steer with CrabWalk7, 35-inch-OD Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, underbody armor, rock sliders, underbody cameras8 and more. The HUMMER EV Edition 1 will have a starting price of $112,5959, including destination, when it goes on sale fall of next year.
The 2022 HUMMER EV Edition 1 will have a starting MSRP of $112,59511, including destination, leading a range of additional trims to be introduced in future model years. Standard equipment on all, including Edition 1, includes Super Cruise capability with three years of service, UltraVision12 with High Definition Surround Vision, Digital Key, 35-inch-OD tires, Infinity Roof, power rear drop glass, six-function MultiPro Tailgate and more.

Just buy an old Hummer, get the engine out, and install an electric motor for about $12000. Lots of people and EV enthusiasts are doing the conversion. Currently converting a 2000 Dodge Durango with dual electric motors to handle 4x4 for under $20,000.

@@lesterclaypool2194 Actually, I am practical! Do not see anything spectacular in this vehicle besides two large tablets that will prompt me to buy it. Too many computer components that are waiting to scream "Dealership Technical Repairs" and beyond the cost of being in debt for years to come. In comparison, my vehicle has 4x4, A/C, Video/Audio system, leather interior, new suspension, new headlights, new tires, perfect body, and no rust. Best of all, it is paid in full, runs amazing, and no debt! The only way I would be interested buying a vehicle as such, will be if this vehicle can hover or fly. It is a nice version of the previous Hummer but really nothing that could justify breaking the piggy bank. Thank you for sharing!

@@TheTferrer I totally agree, I have a 2012 2500 HD Duramax 4x4 paid in full everything works as it should, I see no reason to get a new vehicle until this one has completely ran into the ground, in the meantime I spend all extra Automotive funds on my 2006 M5, that is a money pit, and I also do all the work because I am a mechanic for FedEx so I'm saving a lot of money there... All the new model vehicles coming out have too many computer-controlled systems, we have Mercedes Sprinters returning to the dealer for a new program in the PCM more than once before 10,000 miles, that is unacceptable in my eyes

Beautiful job on GM's part to head in this direction. My one and only gripe is that at such a significantly high price point I wish this would have been styled more like a Cadillac than a GMC with all the plastics in the interior. But I get it, they are going for rugged vs. luxury. Overall functionality and exterior styling is awesome though - I feel like this is the first EV that ICE drivers cannot really comment negatively on the looks and how they typically deviate in EV's from traditional vehicles.

you could produce 11,500 lb-ft torque from a civic motor if the gearing is setup for it, GM's 11,500 claim is a bit misleading as no car manufacture ever multiplies their numbers by the gear ratio to state a torque number like that
