I have the LX model. Pros -pricetag -good visibility throughout the vehicle -blind spot detection on mirrors -sleek interior (and exterior I like) -decent gas milage I average 6.2L/100km -the options for your speedometer you have some options like a compass, gas milage, seatbelt detection. -THE LEGROOM!!! It's a compact car but both back seats and front seats give you plenty of space. -many safety features. Lane detection, blind spot sensors, the car will adjust your speed when on cruise control to keep you a safe distance from the car in front of you Cons -low quality back up camera very blurry -road noise (a Honda's a Honda) -the auto engine off. It would be nice if there was a switch to turn it off permanently but nope you have to do it Everytime you get in the car. I feel like the auto off will degrade your engine faster. -the honeycomb is likely going to be a dust collector and it isn't easily removable. Theres also these plates behind it which I'm sure will be covered in dust eventually and will be impossible to clean. They should have just left it open behind it. -lack of lumbar support. It doesn't bother me too much but on long drives you really notice it. -lack of outlets and vents in the back. In many cars behind the drivers armrest there's a outlet and some AC vents. Wile it seems like it has many cons they really are little nit picks honestly the worst thing about the car for me is the auto engine off it seems like a huge oversight for a very simple thing and one that possibly have some serious implications for the longevity of your vehicle. Something tells me turning off and on the engine any time you stop for a couple seconds will cause problems but I could be wrong.

Awsome LX. I purchased here in CA and drives better and performed better than my 2016 sonata! Great features for a basic model. Thought about the sport but here in LA traffic is bad so no point in that. Also, my opinion on the sport you don't really need 18 in with low pro tires beats up the suspension long haul.

We decided to get my brother the Civic LX for 2024, and it comes with a lot of standard equipment for the Canadian market, which is amazing. It's cool that all the trims get push button start, that great touch screen display, the half digital half analogue gauge cluster, engine start/stop tech, Apple Carplay, heated seats, LED headlights, all the cool Honda Sensing features. It's great value honestly. Plus that 2.0L inline 4 cylinder with 158 HP is plenty of power for driving, and I don't necessarily think you need to upgrade to the 1.5L turbo 4 engine. I also like that CVT transmission, because Honda does a pretty good job with their CVTs, and it's just responsive. Plus 31 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway, 34 mpg combined is just really impressive. Definitely saving a lot of money to run this Civic for sure. I still consider the Civic as one of the top choices in this compact car segment. I've always had a soft spot for the Civic, especially the 8th generation, but this 11th generation Civic, I think Honda really brought up the quality for sure.

The the a/c system is loud when operating. You can feel how light the car is at high speeds, and that it gets shaky. The touring has more sound deadening. Also, I heard a lot of owners say Honda's tire choice on the sedan was one of the main problems on the road noise. They chose a different tire on the hatchback and that quieted things down. However, I do agree it is not quieter than the 10th gen. You almost have to get the touring model to get the same level of sound proofing that was in a base 10th gen imo. But if you find some in stock, go do a test drive.
