Nice review. I just got a used 2012 CRV in December. It’s my first car. I love it. And I’m already looking forward to getting a brand new car in a few years. But I know that I will most likely want something a little bigger. I really wish Honda would stop playing and start putting some panoramic sunroofs on their vehicles lol

Great review. It looks like a really nice vehicle. Perfect for cross-country road trips.

Nice review. You didn't mention the steering paddles. I traded my 2019 CRV Touring for the 2022 Passport EXL. Absolutely love it. More space and power. The pop of Grey color is nice.

I like the way it looks but is it reliable as the Toyota 4runner?

one flaw i can see to the huge openings in the front grill is that the radiator is not protected very well.

Just picked this up yesterday in black. Super nice. I'm surprised that even the top trim doesn't have a pano roof.

Great video presentation. Does this have the electronic parking brake like the civic does ?
@barbz_zayne Жыл бұрын
It unfortunately does not have an electronic parking brake or the brake-hold function.

I absolutely love it...!!! However, some changes are needed. I just HOPE that future iterations of this new model. Particularly the EX-L and up trims allow people to choose the grey leather option on the sonic grey pearl exterior color. For right now from what i've researched only being able to choose from 3 color options; dark blue, silver, and white to get the grey interior leather is VERY limiting. And i think the pairing of grey interior leather with the exterior sonic grey pearl color would be stunning. Having just black too choose from is VERY VERY drab for an interior color option. I also think the grey leather would look stunning on the Trailsport with the orange contrast stitching and badging. It's the main reason i would choose an EX-L over a Trailsport as i simply do not like an all-black interior. And also, Honda needs to offer better options on the EX-L & Elite trims for tire choices. Having just 20in tires with the SUPER awful Continentals is ridiculous. I've read over at the Honda forums that if you want you can go from the OEM 265/45/50 to a 275/45/50 and that will give you a bit more sidewall for blazing non paved trail fire roads etc...And you can still keep your stock OEM rims. But most of all that opens you up too better and more tire choices. Such as an A/T tire like the General Grabber AT3 or the Firestone Destination LE3's. However, hopefully Honda will make these changes themselves so consumers don't have too. It's rather ridiculous of Honda to have a model labeled "Trailsport" but only make it "cosmetically appealing". And really no different than an EX-L or Elite trim. Considering they ALL use the same I-VTM4 AWD system. You can't "off road" Honda on 20in tires that’s just a fact. So either use 18in tires for every model Passport. Or pick a different 20in tire size to broaden people’s choices. It's really not that difficult for them to do. And i'd bet A LOT of folks would agree with me on all of this. So for 2023 please make these changes Honda...!!! Thank you.

Sir, you are going WAY to fast. So what if it looks like the pilot and ridge line?
@AubreyBeauford2 жыл бұрын
Yesss I agree with you in that Honda needs to update their interiors. 8' entertainment screen...🤔...in 2022? (Game of Thrones) Shame, shame, shame!
@BertrandS.2 жыл бұрын
The taillights need some serious upgrade. In addition, the volume button needs to be placed in a different location: don't like it much in the screen.
@haciendadad2 жыл бұрын
So what if you never seen the Ridgeline or Pilot, is the interior nice then? I am only looking at the Passport and couldn't care less about the interior of the other cars.
@terence4427 Жыл бұрын
@Joey Garcia. I totally agree. Reviewers focus far more on aesthetics than they do reliability and other features of the car.

Test driving a Passport is like a mine field. If you can test drive 3 new ones, you need to look for differences in emergency braking, passenger footwell noise, windshield noise, and if the radio speakers play music/talk. The (2019 -21) Touring and (2019 - 22) Elite models are very, very quite. If you hear noise, try a different Passport. In a 2022, Honda uses the same "troubled" infotainment system and some recalls: The speedometer display turns off, the back up display goes dark, and for the hood flying off. If Honda was a start up company, I wouldn't even notice, but this is not a start up company, it's HONDA.

This is the type of review I’ve been chasing. Thorough and to the point. Many other reviewers left me with a sense that they intended to entertain me rather than inform me.

Nice video. I just think Honda is really lacking compared to other companies nowadays. Nice bold front but interior is lacking overall just looks cheap but at a high price point Honda is straying away from their old ways of cheap, reliable, good looking cars. Now they’re just reliable

25 mpg highway? Not horrible but seems a bit low considering it's not too big of a vehicle. I mean the giant Telluride/Palisade gets 26 mpg highway.
@Sevenhundredseventy72 жыл бұрын
Don’t really know what you mean by giant but the telluride/palisade has only 3 inch difference on the wheelbase over the passport while the Honda passport is a taller/wider car than both the telluride/palisade.
@rkgsd2 жыл бұрын
@@Sevenhundredseventy7 it's not all about the wheelbase. There's a big difference in body sizes.
@Sevenhundredseventy72 жыл бұрын
@@rkgsd exactly, the passport is a bigger SUV
@icanseeclearly2254 Жыл бұрын
Compare apples to apples. Telluride/Palisade are no comparison to Honda in my opinion. Especially the safety features and trade-in value.
