The broadcast team of John, Jeremy and Shea are fantastic...great job folks! Also kudo's to your support staff and IMSA in general...very great job on all of these races in 2022. Can't wait for 2023.

Wow, what an incredible race. Honestly one of my favorites this season, if not my favorite. Racing was incredible, the rain made things even better with the different strategy calls in DPi. Seeing those DPis about to be passed by the GT cars was something else. Filipe was once again insane going onto the grass, had me on the edge of my seat! Super happy for the #10 guys, and the crash from Jarvis means once again two cars are effectively tied going into Petit. While I am very excited for GTP next year, DPi is going out with a bang. And every championship besides GTD Pro is still up for grabs from multiple cars. IMSA once again delivers incredible racing.

My first IMSA race was there too in 2019. (I live in MN, so not a bad drive.) It's a GREAT track, makes for great races, but man, it really made me feel how old and out-of-shape I was! I had COVID the weekend of this race, so I couldn't go, but I will be driving to Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans next month. Next year, maybe the real Le Mans in France?

I don't know about funny, but I thought it was pretty cool! That's a unique situation for the engineers on all the teams. What do you do when you might lap the lead DPi? It's a whole new set of questions they've never had to deal with.

How was it able to keep Olie alive, conscious, and unhurt? That was an incredible hit, head-on into a concrete barrier! What happened to the SAFER barriers? With a lesser car, that would have ended vary badly. The engineering that goes into those cars is staggering.

Commenting because I would also like to know. If I were to guess, I would say one of the many wacky layouts that Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park has had over the years, but I don't think that's right. It almost looks like some sort of sim-racing Frankentrack, with elements of Sebring, Suzuka, and maybe even Jyllandsingen seeming eerily familiar.

I was there this year lol. Such a great race. I got a carbon fiber piece off of the 60 😅😆 at the end. It was satisfying having the Lexus win (the team I support) after hearing corvette fans celebrate when the Lexus went off earlier in the race.
@beenaplumber83792 жыл бұрын
I think it's sick when fans act that way. That Vasser Sullivan team has had the goods ever since I started watching sports car racing in 2018. They've always been rock solid, but with GTD it seems like luck is so much more important than anything the team does right. Their GTD pro team is awesome this year!

@Villoresi3 ай бұрын
Would you please take a look at your videos? For races and things before 2023, as things stand right now, the 240p and 480p resolution options are disappearing. That is the case with this race, and a number of others I've checked. I, and I'm sure a lot of the US in terms of land area, don't have fast enough connection speeds to reliably support 720p or higher. I live actually within the City of Wichita, KS, but I still have this problem. Also, on a personal note, my Optic Nerves don't have sufficient bandwidth to justify more than 480p when it comes to moving pictures, as opposed to still shots. But pausing all the time obviously defeats the whole purpose of video in the first place. (A rare, hereditary condition means bone overgrowth largely crushed my Optic nerves. i had a Bone Marrow Transplant as a baby, but this didn't specifically stop the encroachment.) I've attended more than a dozen ALMS/GA/IMSA races, beginning with the 2007 season, and plan to attend more once more immediate medical and vehicle issues are sorted. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you're able to rectify the situation.
@beenaplumber83792 жыл бұрын
Lesson learned - When you get a lead that's considerably longer than the time it takes for a full pit stop, do a pit stop. Bank the lead. Then you're covered in case of a yellow, and you'll be set to beat everyone else in the pits because you'll need less fuel. Doesn't that make sense?

Love imsa for the efforts they put in and the racing they support. But Fastlane is just another NFT money grab. Disappointing
@RacingVagabond2 жыл бұрын
It is kind of funny that they seem to try very hard to avoid calling it an NFT scheme. At least the shirts they were giving away are decent and will probably end up being worth more than the “digital collectibles”.
@BlackMan6142 жыл бұрын
They are certainly not alone in the fad to profit over digital images once thought worthless... now "NFT"s and worth thousands. I guess a sucker is born every minute.

So for the next month or so I exercised before driving to Road Atlanta for my 2nd IMSA race. It really helped.
