Just bought 2023 grand Cherokee limited First, we had an issue with our trunk door being unevenly closed, which more likely will cause water damage, they fixed it under the warranty but it was not an easy task going through with dealerships, customer service, or the service center. Anyways after that issue was fixed, AC blew out hot air randomly, had to make an appointment with the dealer, and had to talk to Jeep customer care, going back and forth 8 times to the dealer, but it has not been fixed. All they saying is sorry, and to be patient, all I did was be nice and patient with the dealers and Jeep customer care. It’s been my worst nightmare won't buy anything from them ever again! Bbbb!!!

Hello gentlemen. Good review video for the second model year 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The Altitude trim shown in this video definitely separates itself from the other five trim levels. The blacked out grille, blacked out emblems and blacked out accents will give it the wow factor for sure. What Jeep should've done with this trim level was to have the taillight unit slightly tinted. Also, they should've included fog lights on this trim level with the slightly tinted effect. Maybe they might do that during a mid-cycle refresh model year. Let's see what happens when the time comes. In addition to the optional front passenger infotainment screen which was mentioned in this video for the second model year, two other new optional features will available as well. Just like how the front passenger infotainment screen was borrowed from the big luxury brother Jeep Grand Wagoneer, another feature that will be borrowed will be the second row entertainment screens along with HDMI ports. Those new features will be optional on the Limited, Overland and Summit trims, but will be standard on the Summit Reserve trim. As for the exterior there will be three new body colors for 2022 bringing the total selection to nine. The new colors will be Ember, Hydro Blue and Midnight Sky. Those new colors will be available from the Limited and above trims. In a upcoming video maybe you guys can review one of the three high tier trims Overland, Summit or Summit Reserve equipped with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. The acceleration is great with that engine along with the classic V8 rumbling sound.

Rented a 2021 Grand Cherokee last week from CVG-you would need a gas station to come with the car, mostly freeway driving in NKY and Cincy, average fuel was 21 miles per gallon, half tank of gas was 50.00 at 3.05 gallon, love the cars, just could keep the gas in it and it was the standard Limited 4X4

Great review! We just bought this car a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it. I watched your other video comparing the GC L with the Telluride. The Telluride is a great car but when I sat in the jeep it just felt right for us. The interior is amazing and I really love the white exterior with the black trim. Keep up the good work!

I have a brand new 2022 GC L limited and it is incredible. Really happy with it so far, plenty of power, smooth shifting transmission. It floats on the highway like a luxury vehicle and swallows up bumps. Nice and quiet inside, stereo is excellent and the uconnect 5 system works flawlessly and is responsive.

I was shocked that the Loredo (base model) didn’t even come with Navigation, I honestly thought that was standard. For 42k it should Be. Also the gas cap is just a push to open, alittle scary now a days with people stealing gas.

The Altitude looks way better than the Limited, which is one rung up the latter. The monochromatic trim just works on such a large vehicle. I suspect the High Altitude trim to return, which would base it on the Overland and give it all of the luxuries of that model.(Jeep really needs to address the rear bumper on models without dual exhaust. It looks really cheap on an otherwise handsome vehicle). If GCs weren't always expensive, I would take exception with this trim and price. But with near-full size dimensions, 6200lbs of towing, updated tech, and other additions, $47K isn't that tough to swallow, particularly these days. And before I'm attacked, yes the Kia and Hyundai twins offer significant value at MSRP. But with Kia Telluride EXs and Palisade SELs selling for more than this Jeep, that argument is moot(though the longer warranty is a good plus). And, I think people forget that the WK2(11-20 model) had a Summit model that cost $67K loaded and sold pretty well. Let's not also forget the $100K Trackhawk model. So price shock at Jeep isn't really a thing.

I test drove the Overland yesterday. I'm 6' 2" and I felt like the driver seat is too high (even with it all the way down) and kinda made it harder to see out the right side of the windshield. Anyone else feel this or am I crazy? LOVED everything else about it, just don't know if that's something I can "get used to".

I just bought a new 2022 JGC Limited only to find out next day the A/C is not working. Not blowing cold air. It has been in the delete for four days and cannot diagnose the issue. Delearship open a case and is waiting for Jeep to come back with some guidance. They check another one in the lot not sold yet and also has the same condition.....

It’s definitely expensive but when doing a lease it’s not bad, my mom had a 2021 GC and I was telling her about the lease terms and how well they lease, not to count the car values that dealers are giving. Her old GC Msrp was 43k and the GCL she was looking at was 55k. I was able to negotiate with the dealer to keep the same payment with some money off the car with the positive equity. So it’s like she put 4k down but nothing came out of pocket, so a lease on a model that’s 47k your looking at around 450-550 a month on a 36 month lease.

You mention that other trim levels (like Limited) will also have the option to choose black grill/rims/emblems? Looking at the Jeep website and different dealer inventory, it appears that Altitude is still the only trim level that has this 'black out option'? Any idea when that will become available for these higher trim levels (really like the appearance package of Altitude but since it lacks many of the standard features like front memory seats, I'm looking to go with Limited). Thanks!

Hey there! So on the Limited it will be called the Black Package and on the Summit it will be called High Altitude. Jeep says these will have late availability which is why you can't see them on the build and price quite yet. I don't have a specific date but I imagine probably a couple months

the base and second tier models is what make these attractive for the price compared to the competition. But you’re nuts for going up on trim level spending 70k. Also, i didn’t see anything different between this 2022 and the previous year. Why would I get the 2022 when i can get better deals with the 2021?

stay away from this a lot of problems. Traded this in for a Durango. Durango might be older but a lot more reliable. Never a buy product that is new. A lot of defects. Buy something that has been around for awhile like a Durango

You shouldn't have much to worry about. I own a 2015 GC altitude, same powertrain with 95k miles and no issues so far. Also owned 2 different wranglers with the 3.6l and also no issues

You didn’t really miss anything compared to the 2022. The only two things they added for 2022 is the black edition for the Limited models and also the option to put the front entertainment screen for the passenger. Your 2021 is just as loaded otherwise. Enjoy it!

For this new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L Jeep's focus is luxury. The off roading capability roots are still intact, but luxury is another element they will focus at the same time. The interiors found in the Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve trims will give the interiors from the Cadillac XT6, Lincoln Aviator, Acura MDX, Mercedes GLE, BMW X5, Lexus RX 350L, Infiniti QX60 and Genesis GV80 a run for their money.

Check the summit reserve and night edition...you'll like those interiors. Looks a millions x better than anything ford or chevy makes in its class. Please don't reply with a tahoe or Expidition...lol. You need a Wagoneer or GW to be in that league.
