First I want to say that I am SO glad I found your channel! 4 babies and 4 car purchases later after watching your reviews we have finally purchased the right car for our family! Second, I’ve been a mom that has NEVER wanted a van ever. After watching the Kia Carnival review we went out and purchased the Kia carnival and have NO regrets. I was excited about this review since we had considered waiting for its release after having our fourth child but now I am SO GLAD we didn’t. I think the roof ventilation is a must with infants in rear facing, extra cup holders for yesterdays coffee also a must! Lol sun shades an absolute must as well. For the price I am not impressed in the slightest lol but thanks for your amazing reviews!

Bomb video as usual!! I think I am more excited about the grand wagoneer only because it can be ordered with a 6.4L hemi which is better than any Escalade ESV or Yukon Denali, with the 6.2L. It makes it a great family car and you can haul a bigger camper, boat or horse trailer! So I think the price is more justified for the Grand wagoneer.

A purse PLUS a diaper bag will fit in the center console. What she didn’t show are huge vents on either side of the third row facing toward the front of the vehicle. That helps with optimum airflow. I do wish it had sunshades and more cup holders for middle row, you’re right about that one!

I totally disagree! We test drove every full sized SUV and this one definitely stands out above the others. It’s really not that much more than the new Tahoe, Yukon, or Expedition.

I just bought mine yesterday! IN LOOOOOVE! I actually love the curved windows - it gives me a retro vibe. I was also worried about the rear vents, but it cools and heats almost immediately, so we’ve had zero issues there. We have an aisle, which gives you a little floor console with two cup holders for the middle row. We added the Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, which makes it feel even more spacious! I’ve got 4 kids, aged 4, 8, 12, and 13. Everyone sits so comfortably! One thing I will also mention is the second way to get back to the third row…lift the reclining handle all the way up and it neatly folds all the way down (obviously couldn’t do this with a car seat in that seat). This SUV is worth every penny - it’s a night and day difference compared to its competitors. Also, when you buy one, they give you a cute little microfiber cloth for fingerprint city. 👌🏼

@@chanm7344 if I’m not mistaken, I think there’s a button that will help you tilt the second row seats. You can tilt the seats with the car seat in place, as well as with no car seat in place. From what I understand, I think the button to do that is near the headrest. Also, you can fold down the seats with the reclining lever as well. However, The button that is near the headrest might be difficult for certain people that are not tall enough, etc. if you go to the car dealership to look at it, they should be able to do the demos with you as usually store associates are trained on new products, and the whole 9 yards.

@@chanm7344 I don’t blame you. If you look at the new jeep grand Wagoneer or Wagoneer, you should do some test drive videos of it, as well as a multi part videos! I think you should do some demo videos of some of the features, including folding the seats, the audio system, and you should do a video on what everyone’s favorite thing is about the new car! The more videos we get from a mom‘s point of you, the better! For your information, not only are your kids going to be super comfortable in the third row, even full-size adults will be comfortable in it as well! As a matter of fact, you might have a hard time getting your kids out of the third row as they love it so much, they don’t want to get out of the car! Lol! If you review this car, you should try sitting and riding in the third row in it! That also includes the second row, etc. oh yes, if one of your kids likes to sit in the third row, you’re going to want to have some pillows and blankets for them if they are one of those kids who like to lay down in the backseat while you drive! Lol! This is especially true if they like that new car smell, especially if the kids tell you that the seats smell good! Lol! Also, if you are curious on how I know how some of the features work on the new Wagoneer series vehicles, no, I did not look at them in person. I watch some KZbin videos on how some of the features work. This is especially true since I’ve been blind and visually impaired since birth, and I do love cars. Of course, I do love KZbin videos that are super descriptive so I know what’s happening. Therefore, if you did reviews of the vehicle that we were talking about, I would greatly appreciate it if you are super descriptive so I know what you’re talking about, especially for somebody who is blind.

Only the MDX and minivans that I know of do it. But it would make the decision of captain chairs vs bench seat a non-issue. It is a game changer!

Scenario. Im putting my 5 kids in the car 9,8,5,3, and 1 I buckle the baby in rear facing first then my 3rd row that includes my 9 and 8 year old which I push the button because then I have to buckle in my last 2 kids in the second row. Literally has taken me years of modifying the I work with all the kids 😂 then I put the groceries in!

Hi Kelly! I'm hoping you can help! I just bought the wagoneer, got home and installed 2 car seats and discovered you cannot adjust the headrests!!!! They are electric so only fold down or up. Nothing inbetween, which is causing difficulty in fitting the car seats perfectly. Was this a problem you found?

@@JolleyKat i think the issue some people are having is that they only introduced the Series II and III; the forthcoming Series I should be cheaper. The Series II is equipment more like an Expedition Limited (and even then, it is a Limited with options) - so it is right there in the 70s. Heck, you have to get a Yukon in Denali trim before you have the OPTION to pay extra for adaptive cruise.

I got the traverse based in your videos and it seems similar to this except ceiling vents. But I do not have anchors on my middle bench seat but I have the tether and can use the seat belt to secure. The trunk is this with seats up is a bit larger but still spacious enough for me. For such a large price difference I'm happy with my traverse

Kelly, I really appreciate your reviews. It kills me though that you assume the third row is for 7 year olds. I have 4 kids, a 13 year old who’s taller than me and a 2 year old who can’t buckle himself. Soo, car seats go in the second row my teen and tween need to access the third row or fit in the middle. I LOVE that you show second and third row functionality and trunk space.

The fact that you chastised a preowned Tahoe that was priced at 71 large for its lack of a sunroof but gave this thing a pass shows your lack of objectivity. The Tahoe you tested was closer to a 63 grand vehicle. The Wagoneer starts at 70 grand and doesn’t offer the level of standard features that GM and Ford do. I don’t see the value proposition when stacked up against the undisputed king of the segment which is GM.

Great car but for the price, the third row should be automatic buttons! Even the Hyundai palisade has automatic third row. Also I wish you could do videos with tan interior cars. Only the side profile irks me a bit. If you compare that rear window to past generations of this vehicle this one looks to be upside down. The tire/wheel combo looks undersized compared to the vehicle itself, and there doesn’t appear to be room to increase it much if any. The vehicle is overpriced considering it’s missing some key features that can be found in similarly priced Expeditions or Suburban/Tahoe vehicles. It is otherwise a really beautiful vehicle and appears quite spacious as well 👍

Kelly, your videos are great! One possible improvement: your mic is peaking a lot which sometimes makes it uncomfortable to listen to with headphones on. It may help to reduce the gain on the mic or to move it farther away from your mouth. Other than that, I've been binging these videos! Keep it up!

@@vanessaoria7999 the deciding factor will come down to comfort and size vs efficiency and range (and I do heart plug in vehicles). It’s the wife’s call when the decision gets made and she’ll likely choose the Carnival. And I do really love those middle row seats. Have them face the back and that there is a party ride for the kids and the dog!
