www.kacfgala2022.org
On May 11th, nearly 900 members of the KACF community joined us at Cipriani Wall Street to commemorate 20 years of driving social change through philanthropy and to celebrate the impact of three individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to lifting up the stories and voices of the Korean American community: Joseph Y. Bae, co-CEO of KKR; Lee Jung-jae, actor and star of Squid Game; and Michelle Zauner, bestselling author of Crying in H Mart and head of Grammy-nominated band Japanese Breakfast.
ABOUT KACF
The Korean American Community Foundation's mission is to transform and empower communities through philanthropy, volunteerism and inter-community bridge building. Our vision is a vibrant Korean American community working together to strengthen our society.
Since its inception in 2002, the Foundation has awarded over $10 million in grants and provided culturally competent capacity building assistance to nonprofits addressing economic insecurity in the Korean and wider Asian American community. Equally important, KACF has fostered a culture of giving among Korean Americans, mobilizing the power of philanthropy to give rise to longstanding change.
