I love you video! I did test drive this model last week and the tork for this model is outstanding. I didn't realise it had so much power.

Appreciate the consideration about this for older pets. I think my boys could do it but I don’t want them to wear down there joints or get injured jumping in and out of a high trunk.

Are you sure the headlights are LED? My 2022 has twin LED headlights behind the glass, one for low and the other for high beam. Yours look like it has the H4 bulbs. Only the daytime running lights are LED.

I have this model in the UK, although over here it’s called the Kia E Niro. As you show it’s very nippy on acceleration. I generally keep mine in ‘Normal’ as the ‘Sport’ mode is too fast. I’ve got some very good EV tyres on mine so there is way more grip than the stock tyres, and it really decreases the 0-60 time by a fair amount. If the car was rear wheel drive it’s be even faster.. thank goodness it’s front wheel drive so all that torque is not applied to the road! I’m a firm believer that EV’s in general are too fast for public roads, there should be some legislation limiting their acceleration. Tesla’s are a good point in case, why would anyone need that amount of acceleration on a car that’s almost silent? At least with ICE cars, you hear them coming from a long way off. When a rich father stupidly buys his spoiled son a performance ICE car, at least you can hear him revving it to show off and impress girls.. But stick that same idiot in a tesla Plaid and he becomes a silent assassin.

you can get to total stop without any touch of brake pedal by holding left ''lever'' or how I have to call it.

This is an interesting one. I still feel like the jury is out on EV automobiles. There will have to be massive overhauls in infrastructure and I don't see where we are anywhere close to that happening. There are also other things at play with Electric but that's a discussion for another time. I love that blue that they use exterior and interior. Really nice materials for the seats and the wiper/turn signal stalks. Nice placement with the info screen too. I definitely don't like the piano black though. That just screams fingerprints to me. Also, for that price I'd really like to see more options included. For that price I could get a really nice combustion engine vehicle.

You can definitely get a way better gas vehicle for the money however it might be tough finding a better EV for the money at least when considering the space and driving dynamics. I’m not the biggest fan of the interior when considering the price tag but I’d still 100% recommend anyone looking for an EV to check this one out. As far as overhauls, I don’t see why manufacturers can’t just add an EV division and produce both gas and EV vehicles. If there is demand for both types of vehicles there’s no reason to not just make both. Government regulations strangling the Gas engines are another story haha but just simple supply and demand. It's a no from me. For the price there's too many features missing. No heads up display, no rain sensing wipers, no 360 cam, no power lift gate, no parking sensors in the front, no heated rear seats, no power passenger seats. There's just too much omitted that you can get in other EVs in the same price range. The ID.4 is a much better value for your money as well the model 3 and ioniq 5. Hell I'd even venture to say the mach e too. Not to mention the fact that the interior looks archaic compared to all of the aforementioned vehicles. My cousin has a 2016 Sportage and the interior is very much similar. This is a $35k EV at best.

Overhere in Europe, it is still a pricey car, but it looks better equiped than in your country and for me there is a big plus over the ID.3 and ID.4: The Kia comes with 7 years warranty, but also without troubles or bugs and just starts and runs everytime you want to. As far as the first reviews say, this cannot be said about the Volkswagen. A lot of ownsers have problems with the software and other malfunctioning. And the service and coulance of the Dutch Volkswagen resellers has to be invented yet, because that almost does not exists...and the interior is not that premium also with hard plastics.

I agree apart from the fact that they Do have rain sensing wipers (just needs to be turned on). The front has excellent parking sensors. The heated rear seats are also a hoot! There are quite a number of other features that weren’t mentioned in this review. I dont think any car has a monopoly on features, you just need to check them all out, find out what features you really need, and buy the best vehicle that you can afford. One thing about the Kia EV though is that it’s very efficient. I regularly get 4.6 Miles per KWh, and in summer I get a range of over 300 miles! In winter I get about 260 miles, which I think is still great! I seriously considered a Tesla, but opted for the Kia in the end.
