I’ve just recently purchased a Niro EV EX, no premium, and my in-laws also got one, w/ $2k down and some negotiating their 10k mile per year lease payment was $250 a month. The car is expensive but it’s important to remember the incentives, rebates, and dealer discounts available. Realistically even at $40-48k it ends up being more affordable for a common person than a Tesla in a lot of cases. Just food for thought but great review, I love mine!

My payment is higher than my in-laws but I rolled $6k of negative equity into mine and didn’t put anything down and still lowered my payment $200 per month bc of the incentives available for this car. They’re a steal at the moment!

I just purchase the 2020 Niro EV Plantnum Edition. I've had it for a week now and I absolutely love it. I get about 4.7 kwh on the highway driving about 65 miles per hour on the highway. It's very comfortable, fun to drive and overall a great experience. So far I'm getting about 245 miles at 80% charge daily. I fully charge once and got 288 miles. I love this EV.

Terrific review! Thanks for taking the time to review this Kia. Your video helped a ton with my decision to buy a Kia Niro PHEV! 😀 I do have two questions for you: How comfortable are the seats, would you say, for someone with a bad back? My husband has a permanent lumbar spine injury and I have a bad hip (no, we’re not senior citizens lol). We need a car with softer seats than, say, the Ford PHEV (very hard and overly narrow), with good lumbar support, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel. Also, my teenage son is a little over 6’ tall. Would he have enough head and knee room in the back seat? It looked like it in your video but wanted to double check with you. What are your thoughts about this car? Thanks for your time. I know all too well how busy an at-home parent can be!

That was probs my Kia Soul EV, got it from Carvana. If I can trade it in for zero down and have the same or lower monthly, I’ll go to y’all instead of Shaumburg
