Pretty impressive equipped car. I like the exterior and interior (sans the iPad screen). The interior color looks really nice and gives it a premium feel (although it’s difficult to keep clean). What didn’t you like about the sound system?

It’s a really nice car especially for the money! The iPad screen could be better integrated but I wouldn’t really call it a complaint. The sound system was very crisp however even with the bass turned all the way to its highest setting, there really wasn’t that much of it so I wouldn’t really say you’re missing out without the sun and sound package.

This car makes so much more sense than buying a K5 GT. Especially when GT msrp or markups are dang near $40k.

Nice review….okay, your money on the line…forte GT with the dct for $27k or stinger gt line for $38k…I know they are different vehicles, fwd vs rwd/awd…not quite a one second 0-60 difference, but I can’t get the forte GT out of my mind for the money

That’s a good question man obviously the stinger offers more, however I’m not sure it offers $11k more especially since the forte gt feels just as if not more spacious in the back seat.. the FWD really limits the forte tho so if you really plan on driving hard or doing modifications while still having a luxurious car overall, I’d go with the stinger. However if you’re just looking for a nice sporty car to keep stock and have good power when you want it, the forte should be more than enough while saving you quite a bit. Appreciate the comment man it’s a tough choice but my money I’d take a forte GT but with a manual since it’s a lot cheaper than a stinger, plenty spacious for me and more than enough fun.

@@WTFCRLT1 thanks for your insight and opinion. Lol, I have been all over the place trying to decide. Everything from a used 3.3tt G70, stinger gt, Jetta gli, Audi S3….I don’t plan on significant mods and looking for a fun daily and for under $30k with a warranty, I just think the value of the forte is unparalleled. I need an automatic so the wife can also use it if necessary.
