Lexus did knock it out park with the new NX. I have the 250 NX 2022 and it's amazing. Drives smoothly and cabin is quiet . Also the interior infotainment is great . Was l7cky to get 1 made in Japan. They're no longer made in Japan

My wife has the loaded NX 350h. She gets 37mpg. She drives around town for her job approximately 30 miles a day. Glad I suggested the hybrid to her because the gas version gets crappy mileage.

I have the base trim 350H and i love it. I commute on a busy freeway with alot of jams. it pulls 50 mpg with its hybrid system. When i love to just chill and use the semi self-driving feature and just cruise. Its spoiling me.

Just drove the NX 350 FSport, Acura RDX and an Audi Q5. Purchased the Acura SH AWD Advance. The others were nice but in terms of handling and driving enjoyment, the Acura IMHO was definitely a cut above. The Lexus NX even in Sport Mode in the F Series was very cushy and disconnected from the road compared to the other 2.

The quick answer is no. There are some good aspects, but some negatives as well. The car is not very quick off the line. Given the torque the car should have better acceleration. It is good at passing. The tech is good. The surround view is terrific. The F Sport seats are “tight.” If you are very skinny, no problem. I am by no means a beast, but there is a pinch. The engine is loud when the throttle is punched. The cargo room is about 15% less than my old Audi Q5. I bought my F Sport on impulse (first time in my life). In hindsight, it is a “sensible” choice. Toyota reliability, yada yada. My car is the Cloudburst Gray and it does look pretty good. The brakes are excellent. I do not have the triple beam headlights, but pretty much everything else including factory paint protection film. The dealer forced ceramic paint coating and LoJack (the only thing that will be stolen is my catalytic I think). Here is an important item: it you want to tow a trailer do NOT get the F Sport. I found out after the fact that this trim has NO hitch available either from Lexus or aftermarket. Talk about bait and switch. It is a decent car, no doubt. In hindsight, despite the negatives (like depreciation), I PROBABLY would have gotten the GV 70 2.5. My MSRP was $55k

Elegant and refined!.....Note the Heads Up display on the windshield W/8” & 14” Info on Dash board with Crystal Clear display on both, alone makes the Lexus better........Mine is In Atomic Silver Glows in the Sun Light with Lil" grey / Gold metal flake" and same Circut Red interior.. but with Electric battery...Has 306 Horse power 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (Via Road and track at drag strip!.) **** BIG NOTE: This model DOES- NOT have a TURBO...But rather, a Naturally aspirated / Carb...........(important because it is well known that TURBOS stress engines)... Simply said: see euro cars shop time & inevitable “ Check Engine Light CONTINUALLY!!....this car combines the Elec Batt and engine to achieve *89 miles per Gallon ( Uses 87% octane / Regular gas according to user manual) in Hybred mode with HIGH torq, And VERY quick out of the hole...Jus' blew the doors off a 735i beeemer...albeit for only a block ...( I am no dummy a V* will eventually pass many cars in the long dist. (in all fairness) ......However, who cares the thrill is initial take off and tickets are for high speed & SPEED...Kill's! My car has Red Calipers against Powder coated Gloss spoke Black mags and All red "F" Sport Badges. Installed Carbon Fiber on ALL interior Piano Black i.e. Center Consoul arm rests dash board & rear center heater consul between seats. Don't mind at all making these kind of upgrades when you drive off the lot and your *** Car Note: goes UP IN VALUE: do that with any car today??? FAR better built than euro's (mine built in Japan) sadly, new releases are now being made in Canada! Like USA Union shops...no one gets fired for a hang over and bad work??? maybe)..... However, Lexus is Far more reliable...Far better Re-Sale that Euro beemers or mercedes Check Engine Light Gucci headache) .......indeed mine has Gone UP in price...Not many cars you can find Like that!... IF YOU CAN FIND ONE ANYWHERE do grab it!......"econ 101".....Has (3) elec. motors gett'n 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (road and track) HIGH torque QUICK out of Hole!......~*~*Never do I use gas..... gett'n 46+ miles per 120 Volt charge (real world driving my experience.) and NEVER USE GAS Frean'n inflation caused by “Elections Have Consequences”!....Almost Silent operation in elec....So do your research, PLEASE......as this is Far better than any European beemer, mercedes and korean etc. All those are depreciating the moment you drive off the lot BIG TIME! …....And are UN- reliable offering to say nothing of the: GAS HOG unproven G 70, & RDX not worth mentioning. Z Best of the BEST F Sport 450h+ ! ….One more thing, Jus' a heads up!......My wife drives the RX 2020 model...Consider putting Michelin's at $1000.00 0n / @ ebay deal is out the door and balanced......... on your NX 450h+ F Sport............ replace the Idiot Run Flats that the dealer wants a $1200.00 extra for warr because like me, You WILL eventually get a flat and the Run your WALLET Flats are required to replace??? are you freak'n kidding????....Michelin's primacy same size &......Far and away EVEN a much smoother ride, Shissh, Do Not tell my wife ...even smoother than her 2020 RX 350....because My "F" Sport has the added "Adaptive Suspension". Much better ride than the HARD Run Flat Bridgestones that come stock. Carry a Batt. quality inflator ( DeWalt 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator ) and string tar impregnated rope insert-er and Do-Not wait for AAA. Consider Use in Only Plug -in and a Hybred NOT a All electric Automobile!.........Using All electric YOU MUST consider YOUR TIME!....i.e. cost benefit analysis. By stopping frequently and needing to use REMOTE Elec Batt fill CONSIDER: fill time, as you probably eat and drink more and waste time simply WAITING to re-charge. You may even drive out of your way searching for an available station Many a Tesla driver has found out the hard way! The fastest nx is as fast as a base BMW X3 or base Audi Q5 and still slower than a base GLC or base gv70 while the nx costs significantly more than any of those alternatives l Also in terms of ev range it’s no longer the highest. Now the xc60 recharge with the bigger battery can do the same 36miles ev range and it’s much much faster while simultaneously also being cheaper and more practical. I wouldn’t call 4500lbs balanced. Not to mention the tax credit is gone and it’s hard to find an nx PHEV without markups

Lexus - why not to add normal big Display by default? It is just 200/300$ plus, but changes everything. It is not 4k display, it is not High FPS screen. I mean that display looks ugly. Very ugly. I am not comparing it do BMW or AUDI, we all know that Lexus is way behind when it comes to Interior, but come on Lexus... First you took out 3.5L from RX, now ugly small displays..

Lexus has run flat tires so that is a deal breaker. No thank you. If I am buying a so called luxury car I want a luxury ride. The best ride available. Run flat tires are noisier and give a rougher ride from the solid/hard sidewalks. Lexus also has a grey interior even though they call it black. I gave black leather in my car and that is all that I will buy. Love a black Mazda interior that is actually black. Also Lexus flies the rear doors right into the rear wheel wells. Mazda builds better quality with a frame separation. The painted wheel well 😮 is a perfect one piece. Not a noticeable 2 piece like the Lexus. 👎👎👎
