Have notice that no one have pushed the lid which the wireless phone charger is forward to open the little storage box underneath. It was a nice suprice when viewed the 22 NX at my local dealer yesterday. The NX is such a great car and was leaning towards a Genesis GV70 before but after seeing the NX in the real life and sitting down touching the infotainment and checking out the Lexus app as well.

just swap 17 rx350 for a 22 nx350 and I think nx this go around is better than rx350 only in the luxury package nx with 2.4 turbo is beast around town and highway. I think Lexus did a great with nx with low the weight and all wheel drive system feel like rear drive car . it feel like15 Lexus IS with 350 which I had in past with TECH

The way the door opens and closes, would take a bit getting use to. I always like doors to pop when first opening, I understand removing that is a result of electronic locking, etc for the safety features.

@@Ecuador006 never hurts to put any money down when financing. Lowers what you owe and thus making payment lower. Because on a lease if something happens to it like accident or stolen, you will not get whatever you put down back. Its gone. Simply take said 3 grand and spread it over the 36 months you’re leasing it. On a lease you have to put down the fees to sign on it, and it’s required first months payment when you do so day 1…Those things you cannot get out of doing. So Negotiate / work out a price to lease and put as minimum as you can to lease the car and not a penny more.

Most reviewers will use a goPro which does a good job. I use them from time to time as they are just so much easier and faster to work with. I all my exterior shots with my Canon R6 with the 15-35mm L lens.

Dried up river beds in the desert are only dry until they aren't just an FYI. There can be no clouds in sight yet that river bed can flash flood within seconds.

A friend purchased 2021 model last year and we went on a 284-mile trip. I'm 6-feet tall and it was the most uncomfortable car I've ever driven. However, this one looks very comfortable. The ergonomics were very poor. I'm glad Lexus cleaned up the rear hatch areas, inside/outside, and storage area in the front console areas. Much more functional and space efficient for 2022. Can't wait to see it up close. It can be a bit larger if it were up to me. Oooooooh, I don't like that small triangle front window. Uuuuuuhg! I'm curious if your hight of 6'-2" would feel comfortable for long 500-mile trips.

Will the next gen IS (assuming there will be one) get this engine or the mazda 3L inline 6? Outputs appear to be similar... I'm not going to comment on the infotainment screen as I feel I am in the minority of those opposing touchscreens. But the other thing I am disappointed with this car (bit knit picking I admit) is the sound of the alarm system! It still sounds exactly the same as toyota! I wish Toyota gave Lexus a unique sound with their alarms as it further differentiates Lexus from Toyota.

The real next gen IS (not the heavy refresh that came out for 2021) is said to be coming in 3 or 4 years time, and is also said to be on a revised TNGA RWD platform. If this is the case, then the rest of the technologies inside the IS will probably be TNGA as well, which will be this new 2.4T (T24A-FKS), a new 8 speed transmission, and possibly a new full-time AWD system for the AWD models. I can't see Lexus keeping the V6 around with the push to become more efficient and reduce emissions. We'll lose that V6 growl and the naturally aspirated throttle response and feel, but hopefully that 317 lb-ft of torque will improve the 0 - 60 times and drop it to around 5 seconds. I feel that Lexus would tune the 2.4T to make at least 315+ hp and more torque, if only to avoid looking like the new gen IS has less power than the previous one.
