Zircon Sand in the GTSP model looks very nice with the black trim, black wheels and black mirrors

Really good review but the GT misses out on Adaptive LED lights, which I think is a bit of a disappointment, I would therefore choose the Akera over the GT and pay the small difference.

The sandstone color is considered an 'earth tone' which is the current trend on luxury SUVs and cars. More people are driving luxury cars in earth tone colors - as opposed to the typical black, white, silver, and gray colors which are slowly fading out in popularity across the world. Mazda is smart to offer this color - and hope that they will offer more earth tone colors to differentiate their vehicles to the mainstream.

Good review. I was buying a rav4 hybrid and while waiting decided to drive a suburu outback xt and this yard was next door so i drove an akera. Punchy. Comfy. I thought the lack of touch screen was a drama but once i looked at many cars i was peeved with all the fingerprints on the screens, and siri does what i mostly need to in my car. I am seriously considering and have cancelled the rav which is at least a year away still

Hi Guys. Thanks for the video. I just like to know how you felt about the cars ride. Was it a bit too firm on those 19" Wheels, or quite acceptable. I do quite a lot driving on some bumpy country roads.

Hi Shane - if you're doing alot of country driving and are looking for comfort over handling, we'd probably suggest that the CX-5 (especially with the 19" wheels) might be a bit too firm for you? Maybe check out a SUV that's had it's suspension specifically tuned for Australian conditions like maybe the new KIA Sportage? (we're reviewing the Sportage shortly so we'll be able to give you our opinion soon). Also, going for the model with smaller wheels will usually give you a better ride too and will save you money on tyres as smaller diameter ones are usually cheaper to replace. On a personal note I've always had good experiences with Michelin tyres (and no we're not sponsored by them...) for quietness and ride comfort. Anyway, many thanks for watching!

"leg space OK"...warning: read owner reviews of the 2022 on Edmonds before purchasing...reviewers seldom have enough time in the car to be able to discuss the seats and the seating position which gives longer legged drivers sciatica...the seat bottoms are hard and short...perhaps a good car for smaller bodied people...if you are taller and have a back, be vary careful when test...you may want to look elsewhere...
