Not a fan of the touchscreen, UI design, lane assist bugging you, lack of rear climate control, and the weird touch "buttons" on the steering wheel. I wouldn't consider this car, it's just an expensive version of everything I dislike about certain modern vehicles. I'm sure it drives great, but the interior experience would bug me too much. I currently have a '22 Genesis G70, and while it's not as nice or expensive of a car, it has physical buttons where they need to be, a non obtrusive touchscreen, and great steering wheel buttons. Genesis does a great job with things like that. Companies like Ford and now Mercedes do not. I feel like they are trying to attract non-tech people with flashy tech that looks cool, but it is more form over function. Someone who is into cars and tech would probably be disappointed with how the interior is set up from a driver's perspective.

The last generation S Class had a superior design to this both interior and exterior. Sure, the tech in this is more fancy but you could tell the old one apart from the 3 LED strips in the headlights was an S Class, now it just looks like an A class from the front and all the rest of the models. The interior of this one is frankly a step backwards with gloss black plastic and a screen integration that doesn't flow smoothly at all with the rest of the design contrary to the last gen model that had gorgeous quilted leather stitching across the dash.

But I like the new tech - my generation S does not even have Apple CarPlay. Waiting to see and drive new 2023 Genesis G90 (previous gen not impressive enough) and 2023 BMW 7 series.
