It is an insanely good car. The grip is like having a train set on Velcro. The cars never fall over. The sound is like a junk yard dog who knows you, but wants to bite your arm off. And the engine. Oh that power. Best new car on the road.

It's incredibly dumb that this car lost the dry sump, front-mid engine layout, and gained 600-700 lbs with basically the same power numbers as the old AMG GT. This is definitely a downgrade from the previous gen and not worth the absurd price.

You can buy a new 2024 AMG GT 55 for $130K, dealers are offering big discounts on older inventory, at $130K these new GT cars make a lot more sense.

I don't think the "exhaust" button shuts the valves in Race Mode, it just turns down the artifical "Real Performance Sound" that gets pumped through the speakers.

It is and always was the button for the exhaust valves! Press the button watch what the valves do... But it is also sending the exhaust sound to the inside of the car , called "Real Performance Sound" !

Idk that exhaust is spicy for sure but it sounds artificial. The cracks and pops and the way there's a dual tone when you're under load giving it gas...just doesn't sound natural to me

I cant lie, i'm not a fan of the exterior design language. If you really want something understated, i suppose, this would do it. But i personally like low and wide, and lines that exaggerate that effect. This one is just very... plain.
