I have a 2022 Sentra SV I've had for 9 months and love it especially in the winter time with the All-Weather Package with remote start, heated seats, mirrors and steering wheel. I'm retired and only drive about 300 miles a month so in 6 years I will have the mileage that you now have. Thanks for the tip on the bass booster, I didn't know about that and have turned it on after watching your video.

How was the cvt? Is it reliable for more than 100k?
@ellietheterrier115010 ай бұрын
My 2020 only had 30,000 miles when i traded it in so i cant say 100%. But if you have from brand new, change and flush the fluid every 20k miles, youl have much better luck with the cvt lasting. Everyone complaining about them, never changed and or flushed the fluid

Got the 2023 Sentra SV. Love the adaptive cruise control. It is agressive but so was the Elantra. The thing I don't like is the back up parking sensors. You have to apparently be moving for them to activate on a moving object. The Elantra soon as you switch to reverse anything around you gets beeped and shown where they are coming from. Hate the foot parking brake. My favorite feature funny enough at this point is the three mercedes like vents in the center. Will enjoy the heated seats and heated steering wheel this winter. Had the heated seats on the Elantra. Yes even in south Texas we do need this stuff. The remote start is weird with the push button when you get in, the Elantra you got in and went after using the remote start. Other differences in the two vehicles, but don't want to ramble on. And I love the SR, wish I could of afforded one.

Nice. Change it your CVT fluid after 30k miles and your oil after 5k miles religiously. That should keep your vehicle gong strong long term. Thanks for sharing. I would only use original Nissan CVT fluid.

Got my 22 sv premmie a year and a half ago. Overall…I love it. Upgraded to led headlight bulbs day one. The look is fantastic. It handles really well with its lower profile and wider stance, honestly tires give before car. I spend a lot of time in my car as a realtor, I’ve got 44,000 miles. Only issue I had was transmission went into limp mode a couple of times, Nissan reprogrammed and had no issues since. I’ve looked at upgrading to other vehicles such as 330i, c300, q50 and a4. (My car is paid off) Which would be a full all around next level upgrade, but honestly for the price, none of them do what the Sentra offers and they have more parts to break. Looking into the history of the others, they break too and it’s not cheap to repair. My kids fit all their baseball equipment in the trunk, this is a struggle for the other cars, except the 330i. Kids (3 teens) have plenty of leg room and when I look back they are always asleep, they say it’s comfortable. Side by side the looks are awesome, I hope Nissan continues to improve the economy luxury feel market while keeping price down.

I have 2022 Nissan Sentra SR with the premium package. I had a 2016 Nissan Sentra and loved it. But this was a big upgrade. The handling is pretty decent for a commuter car. The Bose speakers are good. I had an issues with an intake throwing the check engine light and my steering rack is making popping noise. I been waiting for that to come in for about a few months due to it being on back order.

How do the 18” tires compare price wise to 16/17’s. It looks like they might be about 20/30 % more which seems reasonable
@valstolyarov2375 Жыл бұрын
The rattle is likely the fuel injector lines. All of the newer VWs have that too. It's kind of normal but I've heard that dealers in other countries are willing to wrap up the lines with insulation to get rid of the noise.

I just wanted to chime in on that one. I have currently 122,000 miles on my 2017 Nissan Sentra SV with similar specs like Mikey's car with less sensors but with everything else. It is still on the original CVT and I've owned it since new when it had 25 miles on it.

You need to have the transmission flush every 30,000 miles. I find the people who have had transmission problems is because they did not have transmission flush every 30,000 miles. The CVT is very good, strong transmission with smooth shifting.

@mikeytriesit1180 I brought me a new Sentra last week, and now, after putting 300 miles on it, I realize how wrong I was believing some reviews saying it's dangerously slow. One guy said it's so slow that it's dangerous to merge onto traffic. That's total BS! I have had no trouble getting up to 65 to merge onto traffic safely.

@@wilchambers1401were thinking of getting my mother the 2024 Nissan sentra. Did you have to get the transmission flushed ever 30k miles? Since you almost at 300k you have expertise in this
@wilchambers1401 Жыл бұрын
@Theshootfashion I'm sorry, but let me clarify I only have 425 miles, not 300k miles on my Sentra. I just brought it brand new 3 weeks ago. But from what I researched, yes, have it changed every 30k miles.

Like you I only use the adaptive cruse control on the highway where there aren't too many vehicles on the road. It is too aggressive system and even when someone passed you and merge immediately back to the right lane in front of you this car will put on the downshift/brake to slow down because that someone merged back to your lane too soo. Hate that when it happen. However, you can turn the adaptive cruse control option off and use the cruise control like normal/regular cruise control. To deactivate the adaptive cruse control, just hold the set/or on/off setting for a bit then you will see the on the screen that the car icon on the dash disappear along with the adaptive cruise control icon. The you're using regular cruise control on a more busier roads.

I like the tan interior, but will never get one again. Stain magnet for me. I think I will buy the Impreza since Chicago does not remove or clean the side streets and alleys. They are always icy in the winter. I don't think snow tires will make it any better.
