Omega needs to improve the bezel and if you do use it for other than desk diving you will have difficulty rotating the bezel while wearing gloves. The bezel numbers need Lum and I like the hands, but they need more Lum. I own the blue dial/bezel Seamaster and even with its shortcomings the Omega Seamaster Dive 300M is strong competition to the Rolex Submariner. You can buy one at MSRP and walk out of the AD with it, No name on a register and a five year wait, or paying an unrealistic price for one from the grey market crooks

I think the phrase you’ve used ‘grey market crooks’ is a little extreme and a little unfair. Anyone who sells ‘preowned’ rolex watches and isn’t an AD is a grey market dealer. Their profit margin on Rolex is probably the smallest of any watches they sell. They probably make no more than 1k profit on the stainless steel models when you take into account their own expenses as they need to pay flippers a fair amount over retail to buy the watch. Personally I have only purchased Rolex at retail despite having to wait 2 years or more in some case as I can’t afford grey market prices. That being said there are plenty of people with lots of money who are happy to pay the premium without having to wait. If you want to use the term ‘crooks’ I’d aim it more towards the flippers than the dealers. Just my opinion of course 🤷🏻♂️

This green is just super good looking! Really great dark and versatile!

I think the green dial would look spectacular with a touch of yellow on the second hand and on the 'Seamaster' inscription.....like the black and blue with the red touches....

Totally agree. Had the green on but found it just a little dull with the all white text. A little yellow pop would have set the green off.

I disagree. Its subtlety is the best thing about the watch for me. A yellow second hand and Seamaster label would be antithetical to that, and would actually turn me off from the watch.

I love the green I had one and had to part with it and just ordered it again a month ago, can't wait to get it back.

It's a stunner, glad you ordered it again!

I’m calling this watch the “Caddy Shack” since it has that classy green golf club color on an Omega dive watch that “gets no respect” when compared to the Rolex “Hulk.” The green Seamaster is a unique watch color and looks like a classic Ralph Lauren/Country Club dark green which is far superior to any other green watch I’ve ever seen.

Totally agree - the green on this watch is sublime. 💚

I’d love me a white dial Diver 300m. The contrast between the dial and bezel is just beautiful. Also love red accents on the dial.

That one is awesome as well.

I’ve bought a couple of watches from the SWE. They’ve got a nice selection of watches, priced competitively. The only thing I’d like to say is, they’ve to stand out from other sellers on the grey market. There are so many sellers that do a lot to attract the customers these days. Customers are willing to to spend a couple of thousands on the watches, they should feel like they’re well treated, welcomed and making a good choice. Not that they’ve bad service, It’s just that other sellers are doing a lot more. Like discount coupons, negotiable prices, maybe throw in some gifts like T-shirts, hats, watch sleeves etc.

It is a beautiful watch. But why do they put the helium release valve sticking out like that? Also it looks like you're having trouble turning the bezel, imagine trying to do it underwater with neoprene gloves on. I would like to see a commercial diver who's not influenced by a brand's clout objectively compare several high-end dive watches. It is a beautiful watch I really like the green.

Are you a diver? If so, use a dive computer. As I dive, and never once have I needed to or wanted to turn the bezel under water. Reference the Helium Escape Valve, that's an Omega Trademark. This watch will never be mistaken for anything else. Even from across the room, you know it's an Omega.

It's just part of what makes it the seamaster 300m. I dig it personally.
