Just the other day I was re watching Good Will Hunting. When Robin William's character Sean tells Matt Damon's Will over and over that "It's not your fault." Assuring Will the abuse he endured wasn't his fault. I sobbed. Because of how much you see Will's soul hurting and breaking. Really acknowledging it for the first time. Feeling safe for the first time in his life to be in such a vulnerable position to let go and just....mourn what he went through.

@@cacaktuaaa5695 With actual deaf people playing the parts in CODA. And it's not like remakes haven't won Best Picture before. Ben-Hur was a remake. The Departed is a remake. I've never consider myself a weeper, but man, I watched Frozen II last week and cried thrice, I watched then CODA and then again, and then Marriage Story. And last weekend I said ok, I'm watching the gritty The Batman, no way I cry. Bro... Such a beautiful ending. Even with Being the Ricardos and Raya. Not to talk about No Time To Die. It seems that all of the films I've seen this year made me cry? Well, all but Dune. Such a lifeless movie. No emotion at all. Most Disney movies don't fail to make me sob, but nothing tops the end of The Lord of the Rings for me, let's be real.
