Great video. It looks like the under seat bag is going to be a must like Bruce said to keep things from going under the tank. Here’s another video idea how about getting some photos from all of the sleds that have custom paint jobs ?would be interesting to see a variety of what can be done.

Another great video, guys! I'm going to be putting the Polaris 12V outlet in my glovebox so l can charge my phone. Will the outlet have enough clearance when the glovebox liner is installed? I'm wondering because it's hard to get a good visual from the picture of the outlet on the Polaris website. Thanks guys!!!

Hey Jesse, just picked up my snowchecked Indy VR1 137 850 and took it for a spin on the lake. At 13 miles the check engine light came on (EFI fault says the manual). Dealership is closed until Monday! Any ideas, can I run it (manual says no). Also noticed that there seems to be a lot of ski pressure, at times it feels like the back end wants to trade places with the front, not good! I need to check the brakes, as the sled doesn't seem to want to coast when you get off the throttle but rather it slows down pretty quickly, more so than my other sled by a long shot. Very little travel in the brake lever, thinking the brakes may be dragging or something. Strange sensation, feels like I am in deep snow but only have about 5-6 inches on the lake. Thanks for all your awesome vids, keep it up.

My salesman found a dealership open in Michigan and walked me through the 7s display to find diagnostics. Problems is an exhaust temp sensor, high voltage. Said it was ok to run so I put on a quick 30 miles this afternoon. All my concerns of the previous message to you are gone, lots of ice and slush under about 4-5 inches of snow on the lake and without studs on the track the rear gets a bit loose. Not used to the new riding position these newer sleds have so was an odd sensation for me. All good, love the sled, what a great performer!
@JESSEJAMES3222 жыл бұрын
hey Sorry I didnt get back to you in time. If It is that slushy you will definitely have a "free feeling". what sled are you coming from?

I’d like to know more about the painting of the mirrors. Polaris rattle can? Or is a primer or other methods required
@JESSEJAMES3222 жыл бұрын
No sir. Bruce has a painter next door that does all his paint work. Here is the link to the video that has ALL the options. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIK4hH9peb-ngpo
@paultremelling93232 жыл бұрын
I painted my mirrors to match as well. They look molded in like they are part of the panel. I also put a rivet from the inside of the panel to be sure. Dont always trust the tape.
@JESSEJAMES3222 жыл бұрын
Thats a good idea for sure! The tape works good but thats an added safety measure!

What does Bruce recommend to do with springs when using the 2up seat? Change to HD? We ride mostly with 1 but would like to add the 2up seat when kids (adults) or friends are with us. Would be 285-315lbs total weight with 2. Not sure if we could get away with the high setting on the factory springs. I'm worried the HD's would be wrong riding with single. We are 130lb and 160lb fully outfitted.
@JESSEJAMES3222 жыл бұрын
So for the 2 up i would 100% reccomend the HD. Just tough becuase you are both on the lighter end. I would try it with the standard springs but you may need to go to HD just for the 2 up days

Why doesn’t it come with RCA already done at factory, spending 15-20 thousand on a sled, should be included

I have to look at that website. As of last year they have not made the rack and saddle bags that the Pro S style sleds had. That combination was way more capable and versatile than this stuff. These things are nice but I can carry more gear and things like gas cans. If they don’t have something I’m screwed. I can’t get a new sled and go camping. ☹️

Great video, Jesse I run those big gauntlets with dirt bike gloves, works excellent, my hands get cold too and they don’t running that setup, only issue is the gauntlets block the mirrors on my mine when you using them, my buddies laughed at me ordering a heated seat but none of my group complained when they tried it out on my VR1 Matryx last year!! Funny, low setting is hot enough no idea what you would need hi setting for??? Polaris if your watching you need to come out with a fuel caddy like Ski Doo.
