Dear Mr Butler. Like you, I was an Engineer (Chemical) during my adult career, but having been born in late 1967, I grew up watching all the Voyager, Hubble & myriad other space missions, and as an adult, lived near NASA Johnson Space Center and enjoyed access to the Space Legacy of the area. I really love the work you do & have mentioned you to my firends, whom I hope also check out your channel. I am so glad that you are continuing this work to help others gain an appreciation of space & all the information & mysteries it holds, and to help all of us Amatuer Astronomy Lovers have a place to congregate and inpire us to learn more. Unlike when I was a boy, now it seems there is SO MUCH going on in space, one can not hope to keep up. Your summaries are very much a help in that department. Just wanted to pass along my appreciation of you time & efforts. I know you initially did this to share with your family; I'm sure you've found another extended family of like minded private indiviuals who share your vision & very much ppreciate your work. For every on who does comment, there are probably hundreds who do appreciate it but don't comment. So, once agaim, THANK YOU & I hope to hear many more amazing things that you choose to share with us all! Best Wishes & Hapy New Year! PS - I'm still hoping that the "new" discovery of Gravity Waves will continue to yield ever more incredible & here to for unknown or unproven information about the secrets of our Universe. Truely a New Frontier in obsevervation.

And let me tell you i was blown away by the new JWST super crisp images. From the pillars of creation, to the southern ring nebula and the cosmic cliffs...then NGC7496!!, then the tarantula nebula WoW!! Then M74 WoW!! The perfect fractal-like symmetry of its spiral arms and the supermassive BH clearly visible in the center!!! Thank you so very much for this and all your incredible videos. I discovered your videos in late 2019 while recovering from cancer surgery and just going into lock down keeping me at home. They really helped me pass the time and learn things I didn't know. I've always been enamered with space and it's incredible amount of diversity of planets and mind-boggling physics. Don't take it the wrong way but I also enjoy falling asleep watching lol.
