07:30 - 09:25 Official start of breakdown
09:30 - 14:18 identify screws, handle, stardrag, nut and washers removed
14:23 - 14:55 tension knob change
15:00 - 17:10 removal of screws
17:17 - 19:52 handle side plate, gears and drag clicker removed
20:00 - 36:00 wind shaft, wind shaft cap, wind level pipe removed replaced.
Location of the bushing swap to a bearing
36:05 - 53:20 putting the reel back together including new stardrag

This video is the modification of the 2022 Shimano Aldebaran bfs Xg. I added some cosmetic items and updated the bushing with bearings. Changed out the spool and spool bearings. Will this reel be able to handle lighter gear when I’m done? I wanted another Shimano to throw in the mix. Let’s see what this reel is all about.
