I think I feel opposite about the Batman and like the Batman better of the 2. Not huge on repaints but REALLY want that Batman. Appreciate the honesty everyone is different.

I like the bulk and broad back on that Superman. It might make for a good Bane custom. It’ll probably scale nice and tall around 6 inch figures.

I think the Superman came out great and went with getting the single version. The new Dark Knight Returns Batman is what I'm looking forward to putting with him more cuz I feel McFarlane did an absolutely amazing job with how that one looks as well. I'm really excited to get those two out of all the future upcoming release figures and the Martian Manhunter. 😁👍

I’m with you man. The Batman figure doesn’t work for me. I was on the fence about this two pack cuz I really like the Superman but I’ll probably just get the one from the build a figure wave. I’m still on the fence with the horse tho and also cuz they’re 25$ a piece lol. Great video man !

The Superman is weird but it works. The first version of the Batman is one of my favorites of the line.

This rendition of DKR Batman is not accurate,but I think works still. The height difference could be attributed to the grip spikes and insulation on the bottom of his boots(I never realized how much sense those made for leverage in that fight). Too bad we didn't get any accessories for this Batman. Best buy had the figure for $11.99...i think I'll just pick it. I managed to get the entire DKR set. Just waiting for my Batman from Amazon. Target 3/4 figures and a buy two get one...it was fated.

Why would they not have given this Batman the Bruce headsculpt? For the end of their big fight he's without the helmet. That would have made this a must buy for me, but I have 2 versions of this figure already and am picking up the Superman BAF when that wave comes out. Still no sonic gun for Bats?

@@josephelston895 Yes, I realize. It's ridiculous since it's not even something reality based but because it's gun shaped. It's a tiny piece of plastic. The GI Joes and Marvel Legends are literally less than a foot from the McFarlane toys on the pegs and those can have guns. It's silly to have to include pointing finger gun hands. They're toys.

I’m gonna get this set cause I’m a huge dkr fan. I never really saw the appeal for Mattel figures majority of the time cause the articulation and quality was so bad that they were basically like they were made for kids, in my opinion. But that mettle dkr Batman, that articulation made sense to me cause why would a bulky set of armor be so agilel? I actually almost got that one and I’m kind of debating it. Besides that, I get what you mean when it’s not for everyone lol. Awesome review man, I appreciate your honest opinion on the 2 pack and I hope you enjoy the heck out of the superman!

ToyShiz, the set is eye candy until you see the scale. Superman's sculpt is true and solid. The Batman is also very good. Unfortunately the superman need to be taller. Even with the battle suit Superman was taller. Scale😑. I have the single card release of the Batman(this version). I was hoping the sonic gun was going to be part of this deluxe set. Another trigger hand with no weapon situation. Great review.

McFarlane Toys, PLEASE give us articulation that works! Yes the torso articulation is there, but it's useless if these figures can't crunch forward.

After watching this review, I feel like we would really get along, haha. Could not agree with you more on everything you said, and the McF DKR Superman with the Mattel DKR armored Batman, wow, they look absolutely amazing! Boy oh boy you're giving me ideas! Definitely passing on the 2 pack unless it becomes crazy on sale, otherwise I'm sure I'll be happy with my Build a Horse wave, can't wait to get them!

Mcfarlane one looks more accurate. The Mafex one looks nicer but doesn’t look like DKRS all that much. The McFarlane’s actually looks like he’s in his 50’s.
