I’ve got the same bike. I added the PNW dropper post, Deity alloy bars cut to 740cm, upgraded the grips, and a Bontrager 145 saddle with the tail light, also Dan comp polycarbonate pedals. It’s a sweet ride. I have over 1,000 miles so far, absolutely a fantastic value. Even with the upgrades it’s under $1,600. My 2 cents

The saddle is pretty much what you would expect on a Trek. Good quality with "some" padding. My cold weather pants have built in padding, my warm weather shorts do not. I recommend the padded gear. That need could change depending on how long you're going to be in the saddle. The more you ride, the more acclimated you'll get to it. "See you on the trail" 🚲🇺🇲
