I’m actually considering this bike , haven’t owned a bike in 15 years 😂. It really does seem very quiet wow .

I also haven’t had a bike since I was a teenager, about 15 years ago. Getting this bike tomorrow. Seems great and just about the right weight under 14kg I believe

Did you get them how are they now that yiu are after the hype of the purchase?

@@TomerBenDavid Great bike! I’ve had mine about a week and been out pretty much everyday. Good build quality, light, great design. Worth the money. Perfect for what I was after.

@@DadThatCooks Great to know! Did you get the DS3? In this video, it looks like really low effort to ride them and looks smooth ride and quiet, is that your experience as well?
@DadThatCooks2 жыл бұрын
@@TomerBenDavid Yeah the 2022 DS3. You can open and close the suspension depending on what surf race you’re riding on too which is good. So far I’ve really enjoyed it, haven’t really had the chance to take it much distance yet though but I’ve seen others say it’s great for intermediate range cycling. Can also get slicker tyres and thicker tyres

I commute right now on a 2022 Marlin 6…. It does the job and it’s very durable However, I do find the seating position uncomfortable with the handlebars & it’s somewhat slow on payment due to the small front crank and the big tires…. I’d love to try a dual sport 3 with the 1x drive train on pavement and see how much better it is & how durable it would be for commuting…. I never take my bikes off road.

Merida speeder, Boardman hybrid and canyon road lite maybe the fastest hybrids on the market...have to wait till I get the Trek FX 4 Carbon sport

What’s your review of the bike so far? Getting the same time now tomorrow but black, getting the mudguards you have on it too, sometimes the take away a bit of the look but living in the UK for this time of the year will hopefully keep the dirt and water at a minimum.

Pretty sure it’s in Ireland going by the road markings for the Bus lane and the accents at the beginning

I'm considering the Trek FX 3
@marquesdavidm Жыл бұрын
For most 95% people , the fx series is the right choice! I’m considering buying the fx2 instead of the ds2 because the suspension, I experienced ride without suspension for a year in a 20 uear bike and i noticed that i really didn’t need it!

What is the widest tire you can use with the factory wheels? I'm not sure but I think it's about 17.5 internal diameter

Your like me I'm a night rider....I tend to ride in early hours of the morning around 2am...I have the Boardman hybrid 8.8 which is 75% road 25% dirt.. Voodoo marassa is 50% road 50% dirt. Trek do two hybrids the dual sport and FX series. Dual sport have the front wheel suspension and FX is faster with the carbon forks
@imprisonedone80542 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you need the Dualsport, riding the fx on dirt is not ideal.

What is your average speed on flats with this bike?
@ShaneNM132 жыл бұрын
Not sure. Don’t have a Speedo on it.
@markroberts69262 жыл бұрын
not sure - I'm reasonably fit but a bigger cyclist and I have the 2022 - Dual Sport 3. Averaged 14 mph on a ride on over 50% gravel with some hills, hitting a top speed of 31 MPH when going downhill. The 1X drivetrain seems to have a speed-cap in the low 30 mph range.

To be confirmed. I haven’t been cycling in a good while so I’m out of whack. A couple of videos in the future should give a better indication.
