Can't see a lot through the case back!? Can't see anything at all, lol. Wonderful watch, amazing fit... But for the same money it's very hard to pass on the Omega Seamaster 300, way more premium and bulletproof watch, overall. Big problem with the SMP 300 is the thickness/size, especially the lug to lug...

I went with the BB58 Black and I'm loving it. Didn't bat an eye at the Pelagos at the time, but it's slowly growing on me right now, which is scary because I lusted after the BB58 for nearly 2.5 years.

@@Kydos37 Did I say there was anything wrong with being an accountant? This is like a toned-down, safer Submariner. You’re probably not gonna wear this to do nose candy at Le Bain but you might wear it on a trip to Clearwater Beach with the family. It’s not gonna impress your hinge date (she’s seen 3 guys with subs, 2 with Royal Oaks, and 1 with a Nautilus just this week), but your wife you married at 23 won’t put you in the doghouse too long for buying this one. The sub is type A, this one type B. This is the “sensible” option. That’s not a good or bad thing, there are just two very disparate personalities (and perhaps bank accounts) that are targeted by the two watches.

I think that's a Citizen Promaster 😂 Pelagos 39 is a lovely watch though. I have one sat next to my Rolex, it's a different thing, in some ways I prefer the Rolex and in others I prefer the Pelagos!

@@ozzy1154 What a ridiculous comment. Whoever can afford the Pelagos 39 can also afford the Rolex Submariner. Mass-produced older Sub models can be bought for the same price as the Pelagos 39. There are just as many fake Subs out there as there are real ones - nobody makes fake Tudor Pelagos watches because they are not fashion victim items.

Great watch BUT in my humble opinion its a TOYOTA because you couldnt afford a LEXUS or VW because AUDI was too expensive. True or not that stigma for TUDOR will remain as long as ROLEX remains the parent company. Again, all by itself it's a great watch as long as one can separate the ROLEX refrence.
