Just came across this video. And because this is my dream bike, just was NOT a good idea for a FIRST bike, so i started Small on a little Vitpilen 401 to get my toes wet, and you are 100% Correct. It is therapy. And people struggling secretly should give it a go if they are mentally capable. My little 401 has been my therapist since i got it. I bottle alot of things up, because i do not want to affect my wife. And i had no release until getting some wind therapy, it has completely changed my mental health.

Mens mental health is not spoken about enough, we keep our struggles in for the sake of our families and its a heavy burden, but its one we must face, i love hearing that it helps you too man, ride safe 🤙

Bang on about the bike therapy comments. Looking at this one as my next second wife in the next few months…. Really enjoyed watching this!!! Wondering if there are any aftermarket options for the seat issue yet?

I think there are some people working on options, the seat is probably the most complained about topic when it comes to this bike so im sure there will be some aftermarket ones

Interesting take. I agree it’s a different bike than the ones we have, and I’m okay with that. I think it’s for a newer demographic, not old people like me. I had two fz09’s, an mt10 and a tracer 900 gt (still got). The xsr is still my favorite. It’s not stock. Fixed everything that (I think) needed upgrades, or modification. Changed the color, which I’m doing again, and adapted to the rest. I would love cruise, but that’s it. Nothing else about the new one does anything for me….except the looks. I do like the reimagining version of the bike. Cheers to Yamaha for that. Nice objective review, ha. 👍🇨🇦🤪

I love the late 80’s and early 90’s so i see what yamaha was trying to do… i love it. Buuuut i love my xar-18… sould i switch?

first thing... the dash yeah,thats why u cover it over with the cowl^^ second... yeah seat should have been a 1 seater like the late 80's earley 90's race bikes, would been so mutch nicer if the pilion seat was "plastic"^^

I find riding my newish Brompton 2 speed folding bike to have improved my MH. Prefer putting the power in my self rather than an engine, mind you I only had a Yammy 125 'cruiser' and got bored after two years. I guess m/bike riders keep upgrading because they get bored at each speed level.

Hey mate thanks for watching 👍 I honestly have never ridden the 700, but from what I have heard it’s much friendlier than the 900 so it really depends what sort of power your comfortable with
