Of course you can control the percentage of charge. You have to do a little math and then set the charging timer. I do it every day with my wife's Ariya.

Yep, just people need others to think for them...

Nah. That’s not control. You can’t always calculate rate, you never know what you’re going to get when you walk away. I love how people take up for the short comings of their vehicles.

@@cheesun124 true. Charge limiter is a basic necessity in an EV.

Omg this is a huge problem. My in-laws just bought this and they won’t be able to set the percentage is charges to? This is awful. They’re not tech people to begin with…

This is a good car but not for $50k msrp. You can get slightly used one less than 10k or even 5k miles for around $25k. That is not a bad deal but i do not expect a good used market .

You use the timer to limit the charge percentage. Just need to do the math based on the charging level.

Let down, in what way you see this than, are you misinformed?
@ebikeagogo Жыл бұрын
@@broondjongen4195 The car won't let you set the desired charge percentage so it'll charge to 100% unless you physically stop it. You don't want that as 100% is bad on your battery. If you charge overnight you'll have to get up to stop it when desired. Tesla allows you to set a desired percentage. Unless this guy is misinformed on that, Nissan missed big on this.

@@ebikeagogo imo its the job of the charging station. You should be able to set it as you desire to load when and how at any given time.
@trumpetscall8910 Жыл бұрын
@@ebikeagogo It has a big buffer, so 100% is not a problem.
