This is my dream car, dude (just in the sportback varient) I love the look of the SQ5 Sportback the only thing I'm not digging is the fact they removed the flat bottom steering wheel & the fake exhaust. Honestly I'd probably replace those fake exhausts if I ever got this car. Besides that I'm obsessed with this car so much well done Audi 👍🏾

When I bought my 2022 Q5, there was a 2022 SQ5 Premium Plus and a Q5 Prestige, both with black optics and the SQ5 had the 22” rims. I ended up buying the Q5 prestige. I think it was a $6k difference. I don’t drive more than 10 miles per day. When I went back a month later, they had 5 SQ5 prestige. But no black optics or 22” wheels.

We have a 21 Q5..3rd one and she loves it. It is in the shop for 2 recalls so they gave us a white 22 SQ5. Same color, looks almost the same but the seats for me are fantastic like you mentioned with the bolstering and the section extends out helps my legs with comfort. The power is obviously a plus and the sounds are amazing. She just said can I have this dealer courtesy Audi...so we might be trading on Monday..LOL

I almost bought one last year, they are nice. I had an X5 so it felt weird to get a smaller car. They have more features than Audi.

@@DanielGuzman83 the Q5 falls in the same category as the X3 so you definitely got a smaller car. Q7 would've been the equivalent of the X5.

@@flogar9850 yeah, that’s why I got the Q5. I felt like I was downgrading if I went from X5 to X3. At least getting another brand didn’t feel that way. I’m kind of disappointed in the Q5. Everything was good until a few days ago.

Absolutely. There really isn't a bad choice. The Audi has better seats, and a nice dash/ interior combo. But even fully loaded, the X3 M40i vs a loaded SQ5 still has more space, better MPG by A LOT (I've seen 70mph in eco mode get the M40i to 32mpg which is insane for a car like that), more horsepower, a faster 0-60 (by almost half a second) more rear head room, and better second row climate control. The Audi is really nice material wise, but it really boils down to if your really like the interiors offered and the air suspension feature above all the bonuses BMW provides at a lower price point.

I've had them all and it comes down to preference. The Lexus was a smoother ride but didn't have the power. By the way you are probably betting getting the Q5 and not SQ5 for a better comparison.

@@Getlost552023 RX 500h Fsport Lexus has more HP and more torque than the SQ5 though and they are both the sportier version of their base model so I figured its a better comparison . I’m just curious because the new RX500h has 366hp and 406lb of torque . All the 350 Rx even the Fsport indeed would be better compared to a Q5 though because they are drastically slower and drive like old people haulers . Audi has good awd better than Lexus for sure but Lexus rarely have issues unlike Audi that constantly have tiny annoying bugs and kinks like my Q7 has had . I have a RCF Lexus and it has been free of any problems and is older than my Q7 . But I also had Mercedes GL 450 and it had issues and lost value dramatically . So I’m just very curious about what’s coming out that makes sense for the money that are asking considering all the points I’ve experienced form each brand .

@@TeXasDadBod It's a tough choice. Do you know what the price will be on that RX?. I'm not sure what year Q7 you had but I've had several with no issues. The 2015 dinosaur was the only one I didn't like. I know the Q8s have issues and possibly the SQ7s. The Q5's are pretty solid I believe. Lexus is super reliable for sure and takes the edge on that. So again it comes to preference and situations. Are you planning to keep the car forever or a few years? If that's the case then it does not matter because you will always be under warranty. Do you like all bells and whistles? I personally do and that's what always kills me. I saw a fully loaded SQ5 that was over 70K with a lot of extra stuff that I didn't care for like the sports package. That's absurd in my opinion but everything is pricey right now. I guess if you have the cash to spend who cares lol?
