The front looks so much more cohesive on the X7 than the 7-Series. Wish we got the diesel version here in the states. Currently drive a Grand Cherokee diesel after owning a 2014 328d. Miss the BMW tuning.

@@Justin_GFM Until they eventually try a Tesla or other EV. As much as I love my 6.4L V8, my Tesla Model Y is simply faster and smoother. The X7 is a stunning machine, no doubt. Wouldn’t mind trying one some day.

Same. My god do the seats look unbearably slow. I can see that getting old real quick during roadtrips, or even just taking the kiddos to soccer practice. I appreciate the *option* of it being motorized, but at least give us an option to slam it forward/back instantly by hand.

The Escalade V is just a Cadillac Escalade with a 700hp engine, not many enhancements were made to the dynamics, suspension and handling, in an SUV that wasn’t even remotely designed for performance, so the Escalade V may have great straight line speed but that’s really where the performance ends. This X7 M60i is designed for performance, the dynamics, suspension and handling have been tuned for performance, as a result this X7 handles unbelievably well, you can go around corners in an X7 twice as fast as you can in an Escalade. Despite having 160 hp less the X7 destroys an Escalade V performance wise.

@Bebex112 Im glad BMW doesn't go crazy with the ambient lighting, I like how they keep it pretty subtle and minimalist. Cause some car brands, Mercedes Benz especially, goes way overboard on interior lighting, to the point where the interior of an S Class looks like a nightclub. I always like BMW and their dark orange gauges and ambient lights, very simple and easy on the eyes.

You get charged a lot more (about double) for providing another 30% or so to the experience. At least in SUVs that's the case. They're great, but not worth anything close to their sticker prices.
