Shot this bow last weekend along with the Mathews Phase 4 29, Hoyt Ventum Pro 30, and Bowtech Carbon 1. My upfront expectations put the CP30 dead last in the group of bows I tested and ended up being the bow I'll have in my tree stand next season. At a 29.5" draw length the string angle just felt perfect without dipping my head which shocked me for such a short bow. CP30 just felt so natural and comfortable to shoot. Hard to beat the adjustability of this bow as well. Definitely give the CP30 a try!

Thank you for a great review. Is there a difference in decibels between the comfort and performance setting?

Bowtech is making some awesome bows with specs people actually wanted. after trying a CP30 it draws and holds great for a small bow. i really wanted to order one but the plastic limb pockets are a hard nope.

My thoughts exactly I've always liked their bows, until they went to the plastic limb pockets. If I'm paying that kind of money for a new bow, it's going to have quality machined aluminum limb pockets.

Pretty much a non issue. I thought the same thing at first, but after years of no issues I would buy without any worries

@@ericgmathe exactly , fire arms are made out of composites. If powerful AR rifles can be made with high impact plastics a limb pocket is fk all
