@@sirdipdontknow Nothing as back then Looney Tunes were falling out of favor and Tom and Jerry was coming in, bare in mind that these shorts were screen prior to the major film of the day and they were intend for adults, besides Looney Tunes were created as rivals to Disney and if you ask me they proven themselves to be far more enduring and done more than the Disney characters have, just look at the rat himself, when was the last time him and his friends had a serious film in cinemas, a long time ago I bet while Looney Tunes just had a film resently in Space Jam 2! Only once in the history of Disney and Warner have their mascot Cartoon characters been together in a movie and that is "Who framed Roger Rabbit!!" if you not seen it then go and watch it!!

Tom and Jerry pretty much have been Looney Tunes themselves ever since WB acquired MGM's cartoons when they absorbed Turner Broadcasting more than 25 years ago. Anyway, funny stuff indeed. Love the Bugs, Daffy and Elmer ones from "Rabbit Fire" and "Box Office Bunny". I'd like to see another bit on James Gunn, only about how outraged a lot of us Batman fans were when his old social media posts about Michael Keaton surfaced (as much as we all still like the Guardians of the Galaxy movies).

Honestly, the reason why I think films and products like DC and Marvel are the way that they are is because they've been treated like cash cows since their inception. Marvel and DC have routinely tried to abuse their serialized nature of comics along with their goofiness as well to justify any creative decision they want in order to drag out their own characters so that they could continue to profit from them, so much so that they needed to reboot their own main continuity so many times just to get people to care. And now that they've enterred the film industry, despite the fact that there are people in charge of the films that want to make Marvel and DC films with creative integrity, Marvel and DC have not changed their mentality even slightly. All they seem to care about is if something succeeds, make it succeed again, and again until it doesn't succeed anymore, and it's honestly depressing to see the cycle happen at all for genuine fans of Superheroes, especially the people who work on genuinely good superhero stories. It's even more depressing of a case for the DC Extended Universe because I like to think that DC's problem is that they have executives in charge who are too dumb and randomly and chaotically shifting their level of corporate meddling to be able to have the same amount of consistency as Marvel, because with Marvel it's true that they seem to have at least *had* a tighter grip on what they're doing, even if right now we are wondering what they are trying to make and why we should care. Because before they both fell off, they both had an image of coolness and comical reputability that came with people trying to take risks and trying to do something new with the franchise, but now they're taking risks on A) insulting and gaslighting their own audience to believing and buying whatever they're selling in whatever movie or show they're showing or B) playing it way too safe they might as well be playing with Cheat Codes and just make background noises against a black screen, because I doubt people would find the difference. They have both wasted almost all of their good ideas, and I hope that they learn from all of their bad decisions to pull their own heads out of their butts and genuinely take some creative responsibility. At least they have people like Neil Gaiman, who seems to be exercising geniune creative and quality control with Dream and the rest of his DC characters.

One thing that gave me satisfaction out of the whole ordeal regarding Coyote vs. Acme is that it shows no evil goes unpunished AND exposed how terrible fandom can be at the same time. As a casual viewer, I felt justified being a fan of Five Nights at Freddy's after the usual suspects tried bringing down a MARVEL movie by championing The Flash because of who was in the lead (The next DC movie being brought to it's demise by the Rock's ego).

Wait, The Marvels was basically done with its theatrical run by the time Minus One was in theaters…and about twice as many people saw it compared to Minus One. If anything, Minus One was a more direct competitor with Aquaman 2, and even that made THREE times the run of Minus One. It’s nice that a Godzilla movie is doing relatively well compared to past releases, but it’s still kinda peanuts. Jerry roaring like Godzilla is still funny though.
