Tough choice - haven't had a chance to drive the RS7. What I can say though, is that the Blackwing is more unique thanks to it's engine. Everything about that motor is amazing and IMO you can't beat a big, supercharged V8. Audi is definitely more predictable and "safer" as an AWD vehicle. It also offers better technology and higher interior quality. Are you planning on tracking your car?

@@EUROCARGUY Hey thanks for responding. No I don't think I will be tracking the car. Maybe one day, never even been to a track before. Just want something like an m5 competition but cheaper. I test drove an m5 last year and was really impressed but its near 130k and the blackwing looks to be much cheaper financially and similar I would think.

@@eeepmeeep the Blackwing is definitely more of a driver's car but is less practical compared to the RS7. The Audi will be a better all-around car but I would only consider it as a certified pre-owned or with a warranty. Also, I haven't done market research about the Blackwing but I wonder if dealers are marking them up or you get get one for MSRP.

How about a few words here for your overall impressions?? Did you use launch control feature, rear camera mirror, PDR, etc?

I'll post my full review soon where I will talk about it, but here are some of my impressions: You get an insane amount of power from that V8 and it was basically impossible to push it hard on public roads. The cold weather and a set of winter tires didn’t help - what I learned about the CT5-V Blackwing is without a set of good rubber that’s up to the temperature, you’re loosing grip like crazy. The traction and stability control are very preventive when fully on and help you control this beast, but that results in cutting off power. Handling is amazing, and there is very minimal body roll. You have to keep in mind that you have a big, heavy V8 up front and in tight corners the car will understeer first and then become tail happy. Operating the gas pedal and steering wheel properly will let you get out of the oppression but for a high performance car, I would expect better steering - I mean it’s weighted properly and is very direct, but sadly doesn’t provide as much feedback as I would expect. The suspension in comfort mode does a phenomenal job soaking up road imperfections for a performance oriented setup and I cannot complain how the CT5-V rode over crappy jersey roads. Add a very well isolated cabin to that, and you get a fantastic gran tourer. To summarize, it’s an incredible piece of machinery which has a dual personality that many buyers want - it’s an absolute beast when you drive it aggressively and as I mentioned, you will not be able to use it’s full potential on public roads. At the same time, it’s also very refined if you use it on a daily basis, making it a great gran tourer.

Great car. I just don't like like the all black mostly nay looking interior. A car in this price point should have offerings like red or choc brown at the buyer's request like Porsche. This CT5 V-Blackwing is $106,000 or better!
