(please noted it's already officially released couple of days ago) i think it looks pretty good and it's worth it for rm108k and the best thing is it has apple carplay and android auto it's must-have in modern cars 😊

This car is miles better than X50 Flagship in every way. Not to mention the 1.6t DCT version coming up. Completely better. The price is same as (X50 flagship + power tailgate add on) proves X50 is just an overpriced product by Proton which offers lot less equipment. Lower spec Omoda 5 much better than X50 Premium too cuz got ADAS standard.

I viewed the car already and it offers very good features, modern interior, and offers the same features as its rivals. Very good bargain for its price. After sale? Let the time decide it but according to Chery plan, they are serious to invest and expand their brand in Malaysia and Asean so it is worth to give it a try.

The car looks like RM300k instead of 108k when you look at both the exterior and interior. Damn.

Hopefully the CVT will not be a disappointment, especially being linked to a turbo charged engine, also saw this car in one of the showrooms, not a bad exterior design, tires look sunken in, and the interior center console could have been design better for its asking price. On a personal point of view, Cherry could have done better with a DCT gearbox, like the Tiggo. Also on the whole the Omoda looks ok on first impression but lacks the wow factor and lasting appeal.

Perhaps the acceleration was not set in Sport mode? Anyway 1st impression seems alright. Price is very attractive! Now let see how the aftersales quality in Msia performs.

Not only just Proton X50 where X50 have no Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HRV is also losing to Omada 5. Although HRV got Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but there is no blind spot monitoring and 360 degree camera view. HRV space is quite cramped including boot space is not bigger enough compare to Omada 5. Quality for honda and also for proton is also not really good than Omada 5

But the resale value is 2x higher on the hrv tho for someone that change car 3-5 year like me i would say the hrv is more worth it

If u wanan compare this car to x50 this car wing clearly with the design inside looking like mersedes and exterior looking like the new Lexus and is a new car in market it’s better than wrv 200 for 7 years warranty u can’t go wrong anywhere
