2023 Chevrolet Malibu LT2/ Spec Review/Test Drive

My current last Malibu LTZ with 254 HP and excellent handling was fun and is one of my favorite cars. The 2 liter turbo almost matched that fun power. The new 2023 Malibu with pathet low HP power is a slow boring economy car and has eneded my love of Malibu.. I hate slow boring cars.

Got my 1lt Redline in October and absolutely love it , Looks good,great gas mileage and plenty of go for my taste, burns regular gas ,did I mention it looks awesome

Great review! I'm visiting the 'States next week and have one of these booked as my rental for a month (though probably not the Red-Line edition). I had concerns about the CVT transmission however it appears to be a decent unit that mimics the shift-points of a traditional automatic (have driven some CVT's that have a rubbery, continually-slipping feel to them that I do not like).

When do the auto stop work ?

If a person drives hard (sport mode or high rpm) it may not work until the vehicle a little softer or more at a normal drive. Rpm around 2,500 and under.
