I had a 2015 Travese for 7 years and never went to a mechanic. Only changed battery and tyres. Of course oil change on time is a must. Have driven Toyotas, Hondas etc. They are not good in comfort as GM Plus the safety, the built quality.

Random thought.... The reason why the tilt function for the captain's chair is on one side is that MAYBE GM is trying to force people to get in and out on the curb side of the vehicle. That kind of makes sense, but a bit dumb at the same time as there should be some amount of choice should you need it.

I agree entirely that curbside entry/exit could well be the reason, but I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever come across another vehicle like it! Sure, minivans back in the day only had a sliding door on one side, but that’s it.

Dan, I think the highly efficient, base Grand Highlander Hybrid has 'radically reshaped' the 3 row CUV landscape. The lack of a hybrid option for the all-new 2024 Traverse is a......travesty. 🤣

The big takeaway for sorento over traverse is is faster (5.7 vs 6.9) because it has more torque (311 vs266) it’s a compact 3 row with nearly the same passenger volume (254.2 vs 257.3) it’s about the size of. MURANO! With better mMPG &PWR! And don’t forget about kia’s warranty the SX pretty xline has the features of a traverse premier at the price of an RS!

I would have to disagree. The new offerings from KIA/Hyundia are something from Star Trek. The Honda Pilot is a box again. The Pathfinder is updated and much better for it. Also, many going for the full Ipad looking dash. Not my cup of tea.
